Super sweet Casita w/pool & stunning view above Sóller

This lovely restored house with a living space of about 50 m² offers a cosy eat-in kitchen with an open fireplace and a beautiful bedroom with an extraordinary shower/bath en suite. From your bed you will have a stunning panorama view of the valley of Sóller up to the highest mountain of the island, the Puig Major and Fornalutx. Directly in front of the Casita is a large pool and around it you will find cosy places in the sun and shade. The location is perfect, above the Sóller with a beautiful view. You can reach Sóller on foot by a nice path through orange groves in about 10 minutes. The arrival is possible by car. An ideal place for relaxing and regaining strength. This is a non-smoking residence. On the 25,000 m² property you will find two other secluded Casitas - a respectful distance away - so that the property can be used for up to 6 people. Early requests for this are necessary.

WOW!!! Absolute Paradise!

This place is an absolute oasis! It is gorgeous, from the walk down through the olive trees to the stunning views of the mountains! We did not want to leave this gorgeous casita - it really felt like home for a week! Very easy walk down to Sóller but we didn’t really want to leave the beautiful casita so only did that twice! Great facilities for BBQ, which we took advantage of every evening! Honestly everything was just perfect! Gerhard & Regina were really great hosts, greeted us on arrival and were always available should we needed anything! We continued our stay on the island and they let us stay until the afternoon which was really great too! We love love love this place - could not recommend more!

Beautiful Casita

Stunning Casita with breathtaking views. Very comfortable with everything you need and lovely little personal touches every where. Regina was very helpful giving advice on taxis and shopping etc. we had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

Einfach toll!

Wunderschön und alles Tiptop!!! Sehr sauber und liebenswert eingerichtet. Die Eigentümer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit und wohnen in unmittelbarer Nähe, sind also im zweifelsfall schnell da, falls man mit irgendetwas Hilfe benötigt. Das Häusschen ist umwerfend schön und der Blick auf Soller einmalig. Absolute Empfehlung! :)

Where time stops

There is some poetry of time and space and earth that happens at this casita. The house is compact, very functional with modern conveniences, but overall it yields a rustic experience, not one of luxury. And it is precisely this rusticity that gives the place its magic. One feels transported to another time and dimension, at one with the simplicity of nature in all its beauty and splendour. Even if Soller is just a short walk down the hill from the house, we found we were happiest just sitting all day by the house, breakfasting in the front of the house and eating later in the shade of the very functional outdoor kitchen. Really, there was nowhere else we would rather be.

Einfach nur wunderschön

Es hat alles prima gepasst: Das liebevoll eingerichtete Häuschen, die praktische Außenküche, der Pool, die Ausstattung der Küche, die tolle Lage mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, der Blick ins Gebirge, die absolute Ruhe zum Seele baumeln lassen und natürlich die überaus herzlichen Vermieter samt ihren verschiedenen Vierbeinern.

Natur und Entspannung pur

Wir (33 und 36 Jahre alt) durften eine Woche in der Casita verbringen. Schon bei der Ankunft und dem Weg zur Casita, kommt richtiges Urlaubsgefühl auf. Und dann kommt man in die Casita und es warten eine tolle Einrichtung (mit wirklich allem was man braucht), super schöne und va gemütliche Ecken im Garten und der Terrasse und das Ganze mit ganz viel Liebe und Hingabe! Wir haben uns einfach direkt wohl gefühlt. Von der Casita kommt man über einen tollen Weg nach Soller. Wo man schön bummeln, Eis esssen und das Treiben beobachten kann. Tolle Ausflüge in die Region sind auch überhaupt kein Problem-Deia, Wanderungen im Tramuntana-Gebirge oder ein Ausflug mit der tollen Eisenbahn nach Palma. Wir hatten eine wunderbar erholsame Zeit und freuen und auf ein Wiedersehen!

Traumhaft schön

Die Casita ist noch viel schöner, als ich es mir eh laut den Bildern und der Beschreibung vorgestellt hatte. Mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und einem traumhaften Blick über Sollér und sogar rüber nach Port de Sollér samt Meerblick. Die Ruhe, den Duft nach Orangen und Zitronen, das wunderschöne Haus, die tolle Außenküche, der Esel in der Nachbarschaft, der Besuch der Hauskatzen - wir haben alles sehr genossen und unsere Ausflüge minimiert, um möglichst viel Zeit hier verbringen zu können.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Die Casita, Pool, Garten und Ausblick waren noch schöner als erwartet. Wir waren auch von den vielen kleinen Dekorationen mit Zitronen, Blumensträußchen... und der freundlichen Begrüßung durch unsere Gastgeber inklusive Weintrauben, Olivenöl und Rotwein beeindruckt. Nach erster Unsicherheit gewöhnten wir uns als Autofahrer schnell an die engen Gassen in Sóller und die Auffahrt zum Ferienhaus. Dieses diente uns als Ausgangspunkt für einige schöne Ausflüge in Nachbarorte und an die Küste. Mit der alten Eisenbahn ging es nach Palma. Genossen haben wir besonders den allabendlichen Trubel am Markt in Sóller und die Ruhe in der Casita. Insgesamt ein traumhafter Urlaub.

We had the best time staying at this wonderful casita. Owners Gerhard and Regina were super friendly and helpful. Everything from the interior, the outdoor dining area, the pool to the spectacular view was just perfect. We will definitely return

Bliss

We have travelled the world and stayed in remarkable 5* accommodations but nothing compares to this casita. Just navigating the drive to it was heart stopping the first time. The Entire package - quaint, authentic architecture, simple and artful design, the breathtaking view, the privacy, the stroll to town, and the hosts. Helpful but not intrusive. Oh…and the donkey. We will be back.

wenn es auf Erden ein Paradies gibt, dann in der wundervollen Casita von Regina und Gerhard Maurer in Soller. Über dem Ort gelegen in absoluter Ruhe und doch fußläufig zur Ortsmitte liegt dieses malerische Fleckchen Erde, an dem sich Esel und Orangenblüten treffen. Die wunderschöne Casita lag sehr schön sonnig und super gepflegt mit Liebe zum Detail mitten in Orangenplantagen, umsäumt vom Orchideen und weiteren Blüten. Viel Liebe steckte in Kleinigkeiten der Einrichtung. Die Küchenausstattung wars sehr gut, trotz eines nur 2 Flammen Gasherds. Meist nutzen wir sowieso den Außengrill der Außenküche. Es gäbe ein gemütliches Sofa und einen Kaminofen, den wir aber nie nutzen. Wir lebten einfach überwiegend draußen an den malischen Sitzgelegenheiten mit Blick ins Tramuntana Gebirge und das Lichtermeer von Soller. Das WLAN funktionierte zuverlässig. Der Salzwasserpool war frisch gereinigt zur Ankunft, 21 Grad Badetemperatur. Das Areal ist weitläufig auf vielen Terrassen, sodass man vom netten Vermieter Ehepaar oder den weiteren Gästen absolut nichts merkt. Das Bad war sauber, viele frische Handtücher und eine Dusche standen zur Verfügung. Vielleicht sollte man nicht zu ausgiebig warm duschen wollen ;) - der 2. hat die Dusche sonst sehr erfrischend kühl. Das erzieht aber zur Mallorquinischen Wasser Sparsamkeit, also ok :). Das Bett War sehr komfortabel. Toll fanden wir die beiden Einzel-Bettdecken, (nicht nur Laken als Decke), sodass man nachts bei offenen Türen schlafen konnte. Die Casita ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für alle Wanderfreunde und Naturliebhaber. Was hat uns besonders gefallen? ALLES - ein Volltreffer. Bisher die schönste Unterkunft, die wir mit vielen Jahren Mallorca Erfahrung hatten, :) :) Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Fabulous secluded casita

A wonderful relaxing break at this charming, well equipped casita, with breathtaking views. Fantastic for a couple who value privacy and enjoy walking. Great hosts, who were available but discreet. Loved the donkeys, cats and dogs, too!

Wunderschöne Casita “zum glücklich sein”

Diese wundervolle Casita hat, wie beschrieben, alles was man zum glücklich sein braucht! Sie hat so viel Charme, dass man sich nur wohlfühlen kann und eigentlich gar nicht mehr wo anders hin möchte. Wir haben in der schönen Outdoor Küche gekocht und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Früh morgens als erstes eine Runde im Pool, dann Kaffee draußen mit Blick auf das Tramuntana Gebirge, Yoga unter der großen Palme mit Poolblick - herrlich. Der Weg in den schönen kleinen Dorfkern, mit tollen Restaurants und Bars, Markt und netten Geschäften lohnt sich sehr - durch Orangen-/ Zitronen- und Olivenhaine. Wir haben uns, Dank Regina und Ihrem Mann, samt allen Tieren mega wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!! Viele herzliche Grüße an Euch - Martin & Adrienne

Very relaxing

Initial stressful taxi ride from the airport , but when eventually arrived a dip in the pool and glass of the kindly left red wine allowed us to unwind. The views are stunning and the town of Soller is just lovely. If you are there on a Saturday there is a great market in the town square. A ride on the train to the port is a must. We hired a scooter and took in some of the sites. Getting around the one way system and narrow streets can. be a challenge. A visit to the botanical gardens is also recommended . We loved being able to cook outside and sit watching the sun go down. We picked ripe figs from the trees and lemons for our gin. This really is a place that allows you to relax. Can recommend

Beautiful and relaxing - spectacular views over the Sóller valley. Away from the madding crowd but only a short walk to the heart of town. Our perfect holiday. We’ve been before and we’ll be back again.

Fantastic little casita .

The photos don’t really do this justice . It was. Very quaint and peaceful and the owners were very helpful . The only thing negative was the access which is only possible by a very small car as the driveway is narrow and steep . It didn’t cause us a problem but I thought I it should be mentioned

Kleines Paradies in der Serra de Tramuntana

Auch wir können uns unseren Vorrezensenten nur anschließen – wir haben „unser“ Paradies auf Mallorca gefunden! Zuerst einmal ist die Lage grandios: wir haben eine Woche lang unser Auto nicht bewegt und das nicht nur, weil die Anfahrt (Kleinwagen anmieten!) etwas Übung erfordert. Es war einfach alles problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. 10 min. bergab durch die herrliche Landschaft ins Tal direkt auf den Markt mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Und natürlich der einzigartige Blick in die Berge bzw. ins Tal nach Sóller mit den herrlichen Orangen- und Zitronenbäumen. Die authentische Casita ist perfekt für Zwei, der Kamin brannte schon und wir haben uns auch jeden Abend auf die kuschelige Wärme gefreut – Holz wurde uns wie von Geisterhand immer wieder ans Haus gebracht. Und trotz Anfang April und noch ziemlich kühlen Temperaturen konnten wir mehrfach den traumhaften Pool (unerwartet groß und tief) sowie die herrlich urige Außenküche mit Spülbecken und Gasherd nutzen. Und zu den Besitzern des herrlichen Anwesens: Familie Maurer mit ihren lieben „Geistern“ ist ein wirklich sympathisches Paar, welches absolute Privatsphäre lässt, jedoch trotzdem immer erreichbar ist. Man fühlt sich sofort heimisch. Frau Maurer hat ihrer Kreativität in der Casita C’an Sol freien Lauf gelassen. Das Haus ist unglaublich liebevoll im mediterranen Stil sowie sehr persönlich und hochwertig eingerichtet – mit vielen wundervollen Blumensträußen, Schalen mit Orangen und Zitronen, Kissen, Decken, Kelims, Olivenholzbrettchen, Keramik, Kerzen, sogar solchen Kleinigkeiten wie Eieruhr und Eierpick – durch all diese Dinge fühlt es sich an wie im eigenen Haus auf Mallorca. Und nicht zu vergessen, die Betten – für viele ganz wichtig – sind bequem, breit und mit zwei extragroßen kuscheligen Bettdecken versehen. Auf dem riesigen, extrem gepflegten Anwesen am Hang gibt es neben dem ganz oben befindlichen Haupthaus etwas versteckt auf verschiedenen unteren Terrassenebenen noch zwei weitere allerliebste Casitas von Familie Maurer, so dass wir hoffen, noch einmal ein freies Domizil im Paradies zu finden – denn wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Zum Schluss noch etwas für alle Tierfreunde: die beiden süßen und ganz ruhigen Esel, die zwei lieben Hunde, die wir leider nur selten auf ihrer Morgenrunde sahen, und Oskar, der lustige mitteilsame und schmusige Kater, haben unseren Aufenthalt noch paradiesischer gemacht.

Traumhaft...

Das Häuschen ist ein Traum, sehr liebevoll gestaltet und bestens ausgestattet. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht und ist trotzdem relativ schnell zu Fuß im Ort. Trotz eher schlechten Wetters haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, da man es sich auch drinnen vor dem Kamin gemütlich machen kann. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen...

Ein wahrhaft paradiesischer Ort!

Die schönste Urlaubsoase die wir bisher kennenlernen durften!! Über die bis ins letzte Detail liebevolle Gestaltung, einer Küchenausstattung die - ausser einer Minispülmaschine :-) - wirklich keinerlei Wünsche offen lässt, zu überdurchschnittlich bequemen Matratzen und dem zauberhaften Ausblick aus dem perfekt grossen Pool in Feigenbäume und das Tramuntana-Gebirge...wir wollten so viel unternehmen, aber es ist schlichtweg nirgendwo schöner als an der Casita, oder in Sóller. Fazit für unseren nächsten Besuch: kein Mietwagen! Palma ist mit der histor. Eisenbahn und 2 Buslinien sehr gut angebunden, wie auch viele übrige Ziele; ggf. lohnt Tagesmiete oder Taxi mehr; und: chemischen Mückenschutz mitbringen und konsequent auftragen!! Wir sind restlos begeistert und freuen uns schon heute darauf, an diesem traumhaften Ort gelegentlich wieder die Seele baumeln lassen zu dürfen...

Beautiful location, well equipped casita.

Sóller is a lovely village and the casita sits on the hillside above nestled in orange and lemon groves, with wonderful views of the village and the surrounding mountains. A fabulous spot for long mountain hikes or simply soaking up the sun.

A perfect escape for 2

The photos are stunning but can't really convey the peace and tranquility of this hillside oasis. We have a firm rule of 'never going back' and always finding new destinations and places to stay, but this may be the one exception to the rule! Beautiful scenery, comfortable outdoor spaces, a great pool - and the hosts - who were helpful from a discrete distance - have thought of everything, even a good selection of books. Be sure to walk the footpath down to town - it's 10 minutes down ( and probably 15-20 back ) but we did it 2 or 3 times ( including hauling groceries back from the Saturday market ) and it was a great way to just slow down and appreciate the beauty of the area. This vacation - and this property - will linger long in the memory. 6 stars.

Ein perfektes Häuschen für zwei

Wir haben uns in der kleinen Casita im April 2017 rund um wohl gefühlt. Ein perfektes Feriendomizil für zwei Personen mit wunderschönen Ausblicken in die Berge bis hin zum Meer. Ringsherum Orangen-, Zitronen- und Olivenbäume und es grünte und blühte wohin man schaute. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist absolut ausreichend. Hinzu kommt die tolle überdachte Außenküche mit Grill und Gasherd, die wir fast ausschließlich genutzt haben. Man ist zu Fuß wirklich in 8 Minuten auf einem schönen Weg in Soller und so konnten wir unser Auto oft stehen lassen. Schweren Herzens haben wir dieses wunderschöne Fleckchen Erde wieder verlassen.
