Run down, poor communication, no privacy, bad experience
What was supposed to be a good Christmas holiday turned out to be a mess. When we first pulled up, We could barely enter the property because of a boat trailer and trash cans blocking the way of the door. Their garage is filthy and cluttered with all their old stuff, you can barely get your luggage in. Flies and ants were throughout the house, we ran into a major problem with both water pressure and no washer dryer. There was a mess in the pantry, the kitchen, and the hot tub took days to get hot and was filthy with scum and sand throughout. Upstairs works well as far as bedrooms, but if you have an infant, you can’t use the nursery because that’s where you have to keep your clothes. There are no closets to hang things in as the homeowners lock those for themselves. Overall, I would pass on this property. The homeowner does not communicate very well both prior to trip and during. They enter the property without telling us to pick up personal items. We came home to find that they had been in the house while we were out. The day after Christmas, the neighbor came by unannounced and scared my family have to death. Did I mention your two houses away from the railroad tracks? Really hard to sleep in or have any peace when the rail when the train goes by every morning at 6 AM and then about every hour after that. Not accurately portrayed not what it was supposed to be not the vacation we had wanted certainly no privacy. I am beyond disappointed.
