New Listing! Modern Tahoe with Vintage Twist + HOA access - The Willow House

"The Willow House"

Located just a short walk from Sunnyside Restaurant and the sandy beaches of Lake Tahoe, "The Willow House" welcomes all to experience a modern twist on vintage chic at this remodeled vacation cabin.

The custom painted front door opens with a keyless locking system to a gorgeous, slightly curved, floating staircase fashioned of wood and steel. High ceilings, large windows, freestanding gas stove, plush couch, faux bear rug and enticing textures, not to mention the original, rustic cabin items, like vintage snowshoes or mounted deer busts, set amidst the modern furnishings and a new SMART TV, make for one cozy living area!

Across the room is the dining area with a vintage, stained glass chandelier above a rounded dining table for up to 9. The breakfast bar connects with the fully stocked kitchen, including a new oven styled to mimic a 1950’s relic, a large farmhouse sink, dishwasher, plus ample counter space to concoct a tasty meal.

Just under the staircase is a full-size foosball table for you and your friends to challenge each other on, or take your pick from a variety of games on the game shelf. Just past the entertainment area is a short hallway leading to a recently transformed room which not only provides ample storage of all your gear, it serves as a spacious mudroom with the convenient ability to launder that gear before even entering the home.

The entry-level also houses a bedroom with both a Queen and a Twin bed, a Second Queen bedroom with unique lighting options and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Ascend the stairs to the loft and find a book lover’s delight - to the right, a perfect study area and to the left, a reading nook complete with a pillowed lounger.

Aligned with the top of the stairs, the spacious master bedroom embraces the treehouse feel by nestling the King bed into its natural wood foundation. There’s also room to branch out, onto the chaise lounge that converts nicely into a Twin bed. Head back towards the reader’s lounging nook to find the second bathroom with tiled shower.

Access to Lake Tahoe Park Association (LTPA), a private beach for HOA members & their guests, is included with rental and features over 400 ft. of sandy shoreline with 2 piers, a playground, 2 Bocce ball courts, a basketball half-court, & a sand Volleyball court. They also offer picnic tables with propane grills (seasonal) & even allow pets in the park during certain periods.

Whether it’s hiking on the nearby mountain trails, swimming in Lake Tahoe (10 min. walk), or shredding the slopes at Palisades Tahoe (10 min car ride or Free Transit), you're sure to work up an appetite big enough to appreciate the large seasonal grill on the spacious deck of the cabin. In the warmer months, when weather permits, choose one of the 8 perfectly arranged Adirondack chairs, each with its own Baja blanket, to finish the night gathered around the firepit creating lasting memories.

Everything within Walking Distance
The cabin was exquisite and very clean when we arrived. When we picked the place, we were looking for amenities for our children more than anything, and saw that the HOA area had the playground and you can have access as a gueat of the cabin. Also, everything you can think of or may need is within walking distance. I didn't realize just how much was nearby, definitely a great place to stay! The cabin has all the easentials you may need during your stay and more. The outside hangout area was our favorite for morning coffee and to enjoy the evening fire pit! I also want to note that the property manager was super communicative and responsive with questions we had prior to our stay and during our stay. High quality customer service!
