Wake up to a beautiful day in Sea Colony! Plan your days' activities: relax on beach across the street, play tennis or pickleball in a world-class tennis facility, or swim in one of twelve pools. Alternatively, you could go to the fitness center, walk or bike the resort's grounds, or take the kids to the playground.

Spend the afternoon strolling the neighborhood, biking to the nearest shops, or simply hanging out. In the evening dining and entertainment can be had in Bethany Beach, Rehoboth or Ocean City, MD.

The Sand Dune comfortably accommodates large groups of friends and families. There are three sitting areas, all with TVs, allowing for plenty of space to break out into smaller groups. Free wifi.

WARNING TO PARENTS OF SMALL CHILDREN: There is an unfenced pond behind the house.

Please note that I work with a local property manager who has been in business for over 30 years in South Bethany. His office will send and collect the rental agreement and make arrangements for optional travel insurance and towel and/or linen rental. The office will also provide you with the access codes and address any issues that might arise during your stay. Of the $335 "Property Fees", $200 is REFUNDABLE. The "Service Fee" goes straight to Vrbo.

Also, note that there is a per person recreational fee ranging from $15-$55/per person that is payable directly to Sea Colony and is not including in the amount collected by Vrbo. This fee covers access to the Sea Colony resort as well as parking passes for two vehicles (although there is parking for four vehicles on the property). This fee is paid at check-in. This property does not assess a lodging tax (South Bethany's is 8%).

Wonderful extended family vacation!

Property is nicely furnished, convenient to beach, restaurants and shops, and within walking distance to the heart of Bethany. Our group was ages 12-80 and everyone was very comfortable. Perfect holiday vacation home!

Wonderful & clean house!

We checked in to find a very clean home with plenty of comfortable spaces for us to enjoy the week. The house is quite large, providing more than enough space for our family to spread out. The location was great with just a short walk to the beach and other Sea Colony amenities. Owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. Highly recommend!

Great large home in even better location!

Loved our stay - we were a group of 13 with a mix of adults and kids. The house was clean, large enough we all felt we had our space, and great proximity to walk to beach (10 min or less) with the benefit of access to all Sea Colony's pools and amenities. The owner is extremely responsive and takes pride in her home. We will return for sure!

Bethany Beach House

This is a beautiful, spacious, clean home with lots of areas to relax and/or gather in. The porches were my favorite places. The back screened porch was a nice place overlooking the pond and very scenic, especially at night. The front porch off the master bedroom was shaded by a tree and a great place to read. The house is a short walk to the beach and it was nice to have the pools there for a quick dip before returning to the house. We also participated in some Sea Colony activities. The marchmallow roast on the beach was great for our grandchildren as well as the games at the Aqua Center.. Ria, our host, responded to all our questions immediately and I can say I highly recommend this property for large families .

Fun, Fun and More Fun

Check-in and check-out were very easy. Opening the door, it looked exactly like the photos. We had more than enough space to play, eat or get away to read a book. We took advantage of the beautiful beach, shopping, eating out (or in as the dining room accommodated our crowd). We tried the outdoor heated pools and our group golfed and enjoyed flying a kite on the beach in the evening. The kids enjoyed the boardwalk, arcade and playground. The house and grounds of Sea Colony were nicely kept which made staying, looking out the windows and our walks so pleasant. Our favorite place at the house was the screened back porch where we played games, read and caught up on our lives without distraction. The house and it’s location were perfect for us and we plan on returning.

Sand Dune Vacation Excellence

First off, my guests and I want to thank Ria for having such a beautiful property. I thought the location was great. Close to shops and other restaurants. We traveled from Rehoboth area to ocean city and enjoyed all the attractions. I routinely used the hot tub in the Master Bedroom. The kitchen was a great conversation area as we cooked in a much a we ate out. I have to admit the beds were like home. So comfortable. I would recommend to others. I'm conferring with my guests to see if we want to make this an annual event.

Great place in Bethany Beach

we had a great stay at Ria's house. House is beautiful and easily accommodated the 7 of us. It's a great location close to beach and to all the amenities of Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island and Ocean City. Ria, the owner, was super helpful and friendly, and very responsive to the tiny little issues we encountered. Would definitely recommend.

Great family vacation home

This home accommodated a variety of activities. Some of us put together a puzzle upstairs while others played games at the dining room table and our 3 year old grandson played trucks while in the living room.

Wonderful stay in Sea Colony

This is a wonderful property with access to great amenities at Sea Colony. We spent a week with another family and had a blast. It's a very well located house, just a short walk to the private beach and pools. There are also great restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The property was great for multiple families. We would definitely stay there again. It's very large and bright. Our kids loved looking watching the ducks in the pond outside the kitchen window each day. We will be back!

Wonderful Getaway in Bethany

We had a great stay at Ria’s place. The home is large and comfortable. There are many amenities (my teens really enjoyed the foosball table in the garage) and it is very clean. Proximity to the beach is excellent. It’s literally across the street from the house. We were there in the off season so there was very little noise/traffic from the road. The house is well insulated so even when there was a bit of noise (bike week traffic) it was difficult to hear unless the windows were open. WiFi connectivity was excellent throughout the home which was great because everyone was remote working/schooling. The few problems encountered (ice maker not working properly) were quickly resolved by the management company. My only issue was with check in (which was probably more Covid related than anything) which had us going from building to building trying to get codes and permits for parking/beach use. Once we got the codes and permits everything was smooth. Great place, wonderful stay!

My husband and I settled in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC area over thirty years ago. From early on, vacations in Rehoboth and Bethany with our children became a favorite tradition. We've had the opportunity to vacation as a family in some of the best beaches in the US, Mexico and the Caribbean. However, nothing has ever replaced the comfort and sense of belonging that we get vacationing close to home in the Delaware Shore!

Why they chose this property

Tennis has always played a big part in my husband's and youngest boy's life. Having access to a world class tennis community has made our trips to the beach even more enjoyable. This house is located close to the beach, shopping and downtown Bethany Beach. With its ideal location and access to all of the Sea Colony amenities, we think our home is a real gem!

What makes this property unique

Sea Colony's unique benefits include access to indoor and outdoor 12 pools and hot tubs, over 30 indoor and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts, two fitness centers, walking areas. Walk to beach. The Sand Dune is a great family rental because unlike some homes where you only have one living area, there are three (one in each level). Therefore, it is possible for those in the group that want to stay up late at night to gather to watch tv and mingle without disturbing those sleeping in the middle or upper level.
