Such a lovely staycation!
We live in Austin, so this was a perfect staycation nearby right off of lake Travis! Absolutely stunning views and such a lovely lot. Everyone slept comfortably and seeing deer when you wake up is so dreamy. Highly recommend this to anyone who has a large family for a lovely getaway!

Ideal Hybrid Getaway (Retreat + Glamping)
Great for hybrid getaway where you have the overall tranquility and charm of retreat; and at the same time have parts of the property that offer the feeling of camping. The main house and cottages have vintage feel but with all modern day comfort/amenities en suite. The two tented rooms on the property are set closer to the woods and gives more of a camping vibe; they are still fully air-conditioned; bug proofed, full size rooms and comfortable. We really enjoyed the dynamic nature of the property.

Small party weekend
This place was amazing!!!!! It is great for a small get together with family and friends. Family stayed the whole weekend and it was perfect! Everyone had their own “place” and didn’t feel cramped at all. All the accommodations were perfect, cleaned, and way beyond our expectations. We had a small gathering Saturday evening and it was great place for the group to gather and spread out if needed. Honestly worth every penny and would stay here again! 10 out of 10!!

Just Amazing!! Perfect Spot!
Wow! What a beautiful and serene space! I held my wife's 30th birthday here and it couldn't have been a more perfect space especially in our current covid situation. The pictures don't do this place justice!! (Tho the pictures are very nice!) Management was amazing to communicate with and they responded to a small incident very quickly! Overall I can't recommend this space and the experience it provides enough! Don't hesitate if you're thinking about booking this one, you won't regret it!

Great location on the Pedernales River
Our extended family stayed here for a week. We brought two boats and a Jetski which we were able to tie up on the floating dock. The property managers were very quick to respond to all maintenance issues and questions. Having the whole property to ourselves made it very peaceful and relaxing for everyone.

Great for groups with multiple private quarters
Beautiful scenery, eclectic and interesting decor, easy to get to. It's close enough to restaurants/stores/gas to be convenient but far enough away for privacy. The main house is beautifully built and furnished. It has one bedroom upstairs. There is a house next to it with one bedroom upstairs. The downstairs is locked and unavailable. There are other "tiny houses" for individuals or couples or small groups within the main compound. There are a couple of tents for "glamping". There is a boat launch and a boat dock with a cabin on the dock. There are many stairs and cobble stones so anyone with mobility issues is going to have a hard time.

Had an awesome bday wknd!
Lovely property! I stayed in the main house and it was so unique and beautiful! My friend and her husband absolutely loved the firefly tent. The eco homes where some other friends stayed were also very cool and comfy.

Great family birthday!
We had a 60th birthday celebration. There were places to divide up by family units so that everyone had their own space and the larger house was a great meeting place for all to hang out.

Fanastic property on Lake Travis
A group of 14 friends stayed here over labor day weekend and had a fantastic time. We all hung out in the main house, but it was great there are separate buildings for everyone to go back to and have their own space. There is a nice yard for us to play games in, and just down the hill is an awesome floating boat dock that we spent all afternoon at. The water temperature was perfect and it was very relaxing. We were able to bring our dogs with us, and they had a good time exploring the property and swimming with us. The host, Todd, was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend or stay here again.

Beautiful, relaxing, and spacious
I recently reserved the property for a girls' weekend in which about 18 ladies attended. It was a little like herding cats most of the time, but Todd, the property manager, was very nice & extremely accommodating. We ultimately had an amazing weekend & I'm already being asked if we can do it again next year! I think we will definitely try some of the on site massage & yoga options next time we reserve. My only recommendation is that if you're going with the max number of guests like we did, that you bring a few extra air mattresses. We did this just in case, & it worked out perfectly for some of the ladies who didn't want to share a bed. Thank you Todd & Living Waters for a perfect weekend getaway!

Glorious! Very supportive of retreats!
The property is beautiful. Nature at your fingertips. It was extremely supportive of the type of retreat that I attended. I will return, and I have already recommended it to a number of people.

Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I rented this house for our anniversary. We had a great time! The house is very spacious and has really nice amenities. We actually saw three deer run across the property on Saturday night while we were out on the deck watching the sunset. Although we missed the community yoga Saturday morning, my husband and I both had Thai massages with Travis and they were so rejuvenating. I highly recommend it. We went to Krause Springs, which is only about 10 to 15 minutes away and it was breathtaking. On Bethany's recommendation, we stopped by Opie's BBQ first. It was so good that we stopped by there on Sunday morning and got food to go! We enjoyed a wine tasting at the fabulous Stone House Vineyard, which is literally a stone's throw from the property! They have marvelous wine. We also enjoyed steak and lamb at J5 steakhouse one night. It was wonderful that everything was such a short distance away and that we had our lovely, relaxing house to come back to! We can't wait to do it again!

Birthday Bash
I rented this house for my husband's 29th birthday - we took a long weekend and it was AMAZING. This house is so beautiful. Very nice amenities. There were 4 couples and my 8 month old son. We had a blast! We went to Krause Springs since the lake levels were low. The boys went fishing and the gals did the wine tasting! We sat on the deck and drank coffee in the mornings and watched the deer run through the fields. It was quite relaxing! I will defiantly rent again!

Mother's Day Weekend Retreat
This place is truly amazing. Living Waters is one of the most majestic spots I've ever visited in the Texas Hill Country. Even with the lake down very low...it's a beautiful spot. My family of 8 and I spent a relaxing Mother's Day Weekend here. Love the location!!! We visited Krauss Springs (basically right around the corner) and spent the day swimming and exploring. Also drove into town (Bee Cave, I think) they have some have very unique shops...we had a blast! Bethany was the perfect hostess...she never intruded, but was always present to help when we had questions or requests. This trip was planned last minute, and from the moment we contacted her, she was on top of everything we needed. We hoped for a relaxing getaway, and got that plus so much more! We hated to leave, and are already planning our next trip back... THANKS BETHANY!

Great experience!
The home is across the street from the main property, which has the lake/river access. Our stay was not hindered, because of this. If anything, we got a little more privacy with the added benefit of access to all the amenities. Bethany and Travis are miracle workers with respect to their Thai massage. I've never received such a physically rewarding and stress relieving massage. Bethany was able to work with my 14 year old daughter, a competitive cheerleader, in helping her with proper stretching techniques and massage. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh locally grown vegetables and baked bread. I mentioned to Bethany that the property definitely had that Napa Valley feel. The winery up the road was amazing and the Canopy Zip Line Tour was fun for the teenagers! All in all, it was a great experience!

Perfect & Affordable Place to Enjoy the Hill Country!
If your looking for an affordable way to enjoy the Hill Country around Lake Travis, then look no further. The house is very large and has all the comforts of home with 2 decks with fabulous views of the Hill Country. You can walk a few hundred yards to the South down the the Lake to enjoy the dock and water or walk a few hundred yards to the North and enjoy the afternoon at the Winery. Close by is Krause Springs and lots of hiking trails and within driving distance are numerous other activities. The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable! Plus there is Yoga and Massage available right across the street!!

Our great time at the Sunset Deck
We stayed for 4 nights during Thanksgiving weekend. 2 families (4 adults, 7y, 4y, 3.5y and 1 y children). The place was roomy and welcome. The atmosphere of the property is calm and relaxing. The kids loved the walk able water side and flowing cabin as well as the deers and squerls "visits" in the morning. There are lots of attraction for families around (longhorn cavern, Hamilton pool etc) all within 1 hour drive. Would warmly and heartily recommend the place.

Weekend with friends
I did a lot of searching for a reasonably priced place to stay on the lake, and thought we got really lucky when I found Living Waters. Bethany was always very prompt, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She even contacted the owners, and they bent the rules for us…and allowed us to bring our dogs…so long as they were quiet and on leashes. We really appreciated that. Overall, the weekend was nice…probably would have been much better if the weather had been better, but we couldn’t do anything about that. We were disappointed in the “comfort” of the Sunset Deck. The kitchen table & chairs, as well as barstools were TINY...and I’m glad we didn’t end up with 8 adults as originally planned. Six was more than enough for that house. Especially with two of us sleeping in the boat beds. We felt like the kitchen was dirty. And the fact that there were only 4 coffee mugs and 4 bowls, was a bit inconvenient. We would have liked to be able to spend the evenings outside, but the bugs were so bad…we tried not to even open the doors, because if we did…we would have about 30 small bugs fly in each time. We were also disappointed that there wasn’t even a view of the lake…after all, that is why we come to Lake Travis. Lastly, the Floating Cabin was very disappointing. The cabin was largely what sold us on the property, we were told that the cabin had space for our boat. What we were unaware of until arrival, was that the “space” she spoke of meant we could tie up to the back of the cabin….not a boat slip. And the cabin was FILFTHY. Spider webs everywhere & poop on the deck…just not very appealing. The winery up the street was nice and we did enjoy it. We had a good time with friends, but were expecting something very different than what we got.

Beautiful Home
The Livingwaters renters were very helpful and accomodating in answering questions before and during the stay. The home is beautiful and clean. The view from the house is beautiful especially when there is a rain storm. There is a beautiful winery that is a short walk down the street called Stone House Vineyards. I would say the only "downside" to this house is that it is not on the lake. It is across the street, but the walk down to the lake is not far (maybe a little further since the water level is so low). Also, bring enough to eat and drink to last the stay because the closest grocery stores (Whole Foods & HEB) are about 30 minutes away at 620 & 71 (the Galleria).
