Graceful with historic southern charm, "Ruby" will welcome your group to feel right at home. Hardwood floors and features found in older southern homes such as a front porch swing for evening visits and a yard fenced with white pickets, all blend with modern conveniences to create a wonderful 'home base' for your mountain getaway.
Located in an older established neighborhood, you will be minutes from various mountain adventures including the new Chestnut Mountain Bike Park (also great for hiking), the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Downtown Canton, downtown Waynesville, Maggie Valley and the world renowned Biltmore Estate. The home and location are idyllic and will be a place you will return to, for years to come!
We believe "Ruby" is a wonderful space to share with your family. One bedroom is located on the main level and three additional bedrooms are located upstairs. Bathrooms are located on both levels. The main living area is great for gathering together at the end of the day with a conversation friendly, an almost open floor plan between the living and dining areas.
If work demands your attention, the front office space abounds with a windows and a handsome desk and office chair that will provide a suitable space for responding to those pesky corporate emails. This front office is created with the business traveler in mind and may have you asking, 'can I work remote' the rest of the year!
The kitchen is outfitted with your group or family in mind and has all you will need to prepare dinner for the entire bunch (except groceries of course!). And the nespresso coffee maker is just what you need to get the day started or to wind down after a day full of sightseeing.
And of course we must mention the outdoor spaces ~ enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front porch or the back screened porch. The front porch will transport you back to a simpler time as you enjoy a beverage on the front porch swing or rocking in the rocker. The back porch is great for your evening meal and don't worry about mosquitos because its screened in. You may even see a squirrel or two playing in the trees!
