Good beds and location
Communication with owner not good. Therefore we waited over 1 hour, locked out after a long flight and we were all exhausted. I was communicating via VRBO. He wanted us to use a different communication but we had no idea it was What’s app. Luckily another VRBO client of the owner showed up and helped us. She contacted him for us. He sent us info on WHATS APP. The renter let us know. His private phone number was not helpful to text back and forth. To improve his information to clients he should make it clear whether he will use VRBO or What’s App early on. He can just send the code and instruction the day before so this back and forth thing doesn’t occur. It was frustrating surely for both parties.
Also there appeared to be no ventilation in the room it was hot in the day and night and cold in the morning. the temp remote control thermostat didn’t seem to work. When it was cold in early hours there didn’t appear to be a blanket anywhere. There was no garbage can upstairs. There was a big dead roach on the top of the washer. The door locks were tricky to use. Only one window for the whole place worked. The windows were side by side. 2 windows were sealed shut and the third wouldn’t close and during the late night you could hear people talking in the street. I would not stay again.
