Perfect location!
Log home, on the northern end of The Great Sacandaga Lake. Perfect combination of tranquility/seclusion with access to Saratoga Springs only 20 miles away. The 172 feet of lakefront is nestled into a calm and quiet (but not stagnant) cove that is utilized only by residents of the cove. The 3 Bedrooms are set up like suites (perfect to hold a full family), each with their own bathroom (each bedroom has a full or queen platform bed PLUS a twin over full bunk bed). There is an additional full bathroom in the unfinished basement. The sunroom also serves as a potential additional bedroom and also has a brand new daybed with trundle pull out. Each room has a Flatscreen TV and the home is equipped with Time Warner Internet. Verizon Wireless service exists within the immediate area of the house. Conveniences include a washer and dryer on the main floor. There is NO smoking permitted inside of the home. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets of any kind due to homeowner allergies.
We just added central air conditioning and a brand new deck off the sunroom.

Best place ever!

Been staying at this house since 2017 great time every single time we go. Lake is right there for you to enjoy. John is a great host there anytime you need to answer all your questions. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent location, very relaxing stay.

This the second year we've stayed at this property during the summer, and it's a wonderful place to vacation! The location is remote, but only half an hour from Lake George. I highly recommend staying at this lake house.

Great family vacation

This was our first time staying at the house and it exceeded our expectations. The house was gorgeous and there was plenty of space for our large family of 12. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds downstairs and the adults were all able to have their own rooms at night. We loved spending time on the large dock that sat in a nice quiet part of the lake that was just a short walk across the street. John was great to work with! He kept us updated with a hot water repair that were needed prior to our stay and was ready with a backup plan if the repairs weren’t completed by the time we got there (they were!). He was quick with responding to any questions that we had and helped coordinate a location for us to launch our jet skis nearby. We spent our entire week down by the water and enjoyed the large fire pit area at night. We lost power one night and were thankful for the backup generator which kicked in automatically. We have already started to discuss planning another family vacation here for next summer!

Family vacay

Perfect home for a family reunion of 12 people. Short walk to large dock on a lovely, quiet part of the lake. John the host, was always available to answer questions and we were thankful for the backup generator which automatically took over when a storm knocked out the electricity, allowing the fun to continue. Would love to go again!

Beautiful!!

The place is gorgeous. Unobstructed view of the water from the many large windows in the front of house. So big, yet such a cozy feel. John responded immediately for any questions I had. I rented with a couple of friends fto go to 2 concerts nearby. I'm definately going to renting it again with my family just to stay at the property and enjoy the peaceful home, the lake, boats and firepit. So much to do and so comfy,. Highly recommended! Great 2nd Stay

This was our second stay here and it worked out great. Lot's of beds, great cabin feel, it was clean and didn't have any issues. The lake is beautiful and it's fairly close to a couple towns if you need to grab anything. Definitely recommended.

Great cabin with a nice lakefront area

We had a great stay at this cabin. It is well kept and very comfortable with A/C. Close enough for nice day trips to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. We brought our own kayaks, swam, used the fire pit and had nice family game nights around the large dining room table. We would gladly stay here again. The owner John was easy to reach with any questions or concerns that we had.

Beautiful spacious clean house

Breath taking view of lake each morning. Enjoyed fireplace and or fire pit by lake each night. Just breath taking time of year for walks, trails, and parks. The fall colors were vibrant. Excellent place for peace and quiet. The views are just absolutely beautiful and serene Owner very accommodating and helpful.. Thanks to John we were able to get the fireplace going.

Great Experience

I stayed here for almost a week with a group of 4 other friends. The check-in process once we arrived was as easy as unlocking the lock box. The house itself was very clean and well stocked and there was more than enough room for 5 of us (this place could easily fit more than double that). The lake access is across the street but it is not busy so super easy to walk across the street and down the short walkway. Plenty of parking for for 5+ cars. From the house, you are within an hour of Saratoga Springs and St. George, which we visited both of throughout the week. The owner checked in with us about half way through the stay to make sure everything was going well. Finally, I'd like to point out that this property has a backup generator, which was used during our stay as a storm swept through the area. It worked great and allowed us to continue our board game without having to sit in the dark, so that was a huge bonus. Overall, I don't think we could have asked for much else.

Perfect family getaway

John's place was large, clean and came with everything we needed for a great family vacation. We had easy water access right across the street with a few kayaks for getting out on the water. John was really responsive when we needed help. Great stay!

Beautiful Lake House

We had a wonderful stay with beautiful views! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We launched our boat nearby and the water depth by the dock was plenty deep and very clean. The dock and fire pit area was very enjoyable. The pictures in the listing do not do this home justice. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay on the lake!

Best Get Away

This property is beautiful. Best place to go and unwind and relax. The kids and grandkids enjoyed it very much. The lake can be busy but at this home the lake property is quite quiet and calm. John is so very accommodating and quick to answer any questions you have. We did have a storm while there and the power was knocked out for a minute but the back up generator came right on and worked great!!Look forward to booking next year.

Great location and nice property for 3 families

Perfect spot for a short vacation. We were 3 families and with 2 kids and this was a great property to enjoy a time off. Only downside was the across the road setup of the lake / property, but that aside, a great experience. John is a fantastic host who was very communicative!
