A Catalina Island Vacation Rental

My home on Catalina Island is a clean and comfortable place that allows you to relax, unwind and remember how wonderful being in a small ocean town truly is.
Perfect for a romantic get away or a family vacation. Just five minutes from the beach, shops, grocery store, the main strip and plenty of restaurants. You can use the fully equipped kitchen or have a BBQ in the backyard. The home has a washer and dryer, internet and everything you need for your stay. If you find you need something we are fortunate to have an island native as our property manager that help you quickly settle in.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Our Catalina home has a queen size bed in one bedroom; a double bed and a double futon in the second bedroom and a single chair bed downstairs. While it works well for a family with kids, it is awkward for three(3) adult couples.

Silly Girls on Island

We had a wonderful time. Fantastic location. Could walk to everything. Not a bad walk to ferry, even with luggage. Lived the view of the hill from the back.

Grandkids getaway

It was a fun filled 2 day stay with the grandkids. The best part was watching the great granddaughter meet the beach for the first time! She loved it. Coming back to the house was very nice because it was very family welcoming.

Perfect Family Home

In a quiet neighborhood, perfect for our family stay. Close to town, walking distance to beach, shops, and market. Host Mark was very helpful in sharing home details and was available for helpful tips. Would definitely book again.

Close to everything!

We enjoyed walking around town, to the Wrigley Memorial and up in the hills above town. Walked around the corner to Mass. Relaxing! Enjoyed having a backyard to hang wet suits and bathing suits. Glad they had a washing machine and dryer. Hope to return someday soon.

Location, Location, location!

Absolutely delightful stay! This townhouse on Catalina Island exceeded all expectations. Its proximity to downtown, just a 5-minute stroll away, made exploring Avalon incredibly convenient. The host's hospitality was outstanding; they were incredibly accommodating and ensured our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The townhouse itself was cozy, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts of home. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every detail was taken care of, making for a truly memorable experience. Can't wait to return to this charming getaway!

Avalon, Catalina Island, CA

Avalon is a cute and pleasant small town - a great destination for a romantic getaway for a couple days. Also looks like it would be an easy and fun scuba destination (we didnt dive, but we saw a number of small dive boats going out and a few shore dives). Our only reservation in recommending it is that while you can rent golf carts and electric bikes, you are still mostly restricted to the town limits unless you take a commercial tour to see the island outside of town,

Mellow stay in Avalon

Came with my family of four for a laid back trip to the island. And we got just that! Mark’s place felt like staying at a family friend’s home - comfortable, homey, no frills. Was nice to be able to walk everywhere and be on a quiet street with people of the neighborhood. Was also nice to be able to spread out in the house. Mark is really easy going with great communication.

Good location

Perfect place for our family. Not too far of a walk to marina, although if going all the way to Descanso it’s a bit challenging for children. Property manager was helpful and flexible for us to store our bags on last day, which was very helpful.

Great little place to stay

Loved the place. We were two adult couples staying. Very nice 2 bed 2 bath home. Back yard was great, quiet private with a nice BBQ to use. Walking distance to everything. Host was great! very easy process, will be renting from them again in the future

Futón unusable: dirty, lumpy and literally in a closet. Drapes filthy. Floors May have been swept and vacuumed but not clean. It needs a deep cleaning. Mark, manager, was rude. Because of a mis communication re check in he banged on the door screaming about us being there before getting a communication from him (never got his text after initial phone call). Only my 84 year sister was there, the rest of us were at the market, he ranted and screamed at her. We then came back. We pointed out the cleanliness ie tissues and crumbs under the sofa cushions. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Overall the place is nice, good location, etc but it needs a paint job and decluttering. I would recommend if these issues were addressed. It does not sleep six unless you’re counting babies. Thank you, Donna

I loved it so much! The yard was the perfect outdoor space. Loved that we were within walking distance to everywhere! And the neighbors were very nice. The perfect spot! Mark was so helpful. A great guy!

Close walk to everything!

We had a great time. What started out as a girls trip (mothers and daughters) became a momm & adult kids trip when my friend got sick and they couldn’t go. The only thing I would tell someone to be aware of is that the pull out couch downstairs is kid sized. We had a good laugh when my 6’2” son took the downstairs to sleep. The back yard was nice and it had laundry facilities. I don’t know if the service that supplies linens leaves any for the pull out beds because we couldn’t find any. But there were extra blankets he was able to use. I’d stay again regardless due to its location. And Mark and Mark were both easy to work with and to communicate with. Thank you Mark and Mark!

Wonderful three days away

We had a lovely time on Catalina. The house suited us perfectly. Our 3 year old daughter loved then back yard and we appreciated the sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas that came with the house. Mark was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure the house had everything we needed and that we connected with the unique history of Avalon.

Family Time

Great little house for family vacation. Grand kids loved it and the sleeping arrangements were spot on.The yard with bbq was a nice addition. Toilets were sluggish, but we were able to clear them out! Good instructions and all went smoothly. Thank you to Mark!
