Great community fire pit with wood provided ...perfect for smores and pie makers!!! Close to Old Forge and Inlet ....just a nice stay.....thanks!!
Me and my friend enjoyed the coziness and amenities The Study provided allowing us the freedom a vacation should have to take advantage of the highlights of the area eg kayaking and trail walking as well as the gelato cones in Inlet. Nice!

Adorable cottage
The Study is an adorable cottage nestled in the woods with a small babbling brook running underneath the spacious deck.
The kitchen, dining table and sitting area are all one open space and have a very cool retro, contemporary but still Adirondack vibe. The bathroom is clean with a nice shower and also has a washer and dryer that come in handy. There is a small bedroom downstairs that my son found super quiet. It has a bunk with a single and a double bed. The loft has a queen bed.
The Study is part of a small compound Palmer Point. There is a nice shared fire pit and a large dock with Adirondack chairs.
We have rented this by itself, as well as with the other cottages for large family gatherings. The Study is small but comfortable.
I'm reluctant to share this review, because there will less availability for us!

About the host
Hosted by Cindy
We bought Palmer Point to preserve an historic Adirondack cottage colony and give our guests a place to enjoy their family vacation.
Why they chose this property
The Study was originally called the Ice House where the original owners who called it Camp Brush stored ice from the lake for summer use. Mr. Palmer Sr. turned it into a quiet cabin nestled by a stream looking out onto Fourth Lake.
What makes this property unique
It has a private deck with a stream running underneath. The bedroom is big and loft is fun for kids. The cabin is newly renovated and features stainless steel appliances and stone bath.
