5 BR With Fantastic Views on Harbor Island, SC., Golf Cart, Wi-Fi, Beautiful!

Harbor Island is a gated community and 2 gate passes are included in the rental rate which is a $190 value. The Main Floor has an open plan kitchen, dining room and family room opening onto a large porch with outdoor living at its best. Granite counters, stainless appliances, and bar seating in the kitchen. Queen bedroom and bath on the main floor, while the Primary Bedroom is on the second floor containing a king bed and en suite bathroom - jacuzzi tub and marble counter tops. The second floor also has a queen bedroom with en suite bath and yet another family living area with large TV, laundry room, and wet bar. There are two porches off the second floor with spectacular views across the marsh of the ocean and the Harbor River. Great view of the osprey nest, too! The third floor has two bedrooms each with a set of twin beds. These bedrooms share a bath and a television. Designer finishes through-out. The golf cart can whisk you away down the road to the beach and the pool. In addition, bikes are available for rent at Barefoot Bubba's and are a great way to explore.

Our home is one of the Causeway Cottages located just over the first bridge and across from the crabbing dock. The beach and the pool are a short walk. The golf cart and bikes allow access to the beach in a few minutes.

Loved it as much as the first time...

Our family stayed at the house for Memorial Day week and loved it, again...this is the 2nd time we've stayed here. The first stay was last year, for the July 4th week. The house has a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, plenty of seating, and a fantastic view and breeze off the porch/deck. The owner is very helpful and responsive. And the golf cart makes for an easy ride to the pool and beach accesses. We did rent a 2nd golf cart, which came in handy this year. We would definitely stay in this house again.

Great Getaway

Host was one of the best I’ve ever communicated with. The house was clean and very convenient for us and the Golf Cart was a great option to get to the pool and the beach - take your fishing pole with you as there is great fishing right behind the house and also across the street.

Perfect location for a family get away.

From the moment we booked to the day we left, everything ran smoothly. The host was wonderful to work with as was the house keeper. This house has everything you need. The layout is perfect for a family with kids of all ages. Because of the two separate living spaces, the kids were able to enjoy their own quiet time. The porches offer beautiful views and the master bedroom and bathroom was one of the largest that we have ever had while on vacation. The golfcart is a bonus and was charged are ready for use. If you are thinking of booking this house, do it! It is amazing!

Wonderful Second Stay

Perfect location - views amazing .

House was a great layout for a family gathering. We had easy access to the beach (golf cart!) and views of both sunrise and sunset! Watching the shore birds retuning to the marsh was a favorite activity as well as the abundance of fish to be caught from the back yard. Early morning high tide also brought a nice dolphin view for the kids!

Great home for a great family vacation

We had a great week ! The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for our whole family. The island was beautiful and we enjoyed fishing, crabbing , and bird watching while also enjoying the beach. We loved watching a baby alligator swimming in the tidal creek beside the house most days of the week!

As advertised!

We had a great stay here! We’ve stayed at several houses at Harbor Island, and our family said it was their favorite one. House was open and spacious, and the extra den was a plus. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the many porches and always had a great breeze. The view was great, from both the interior of the house with the numerous windows and from the porches. We loved watching the wildlife (especially the ospreys) in the marsh area and the creek. Getting to the beach was a short ride with the golf cart. The host was friendly and very helpful with great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing porch and views

We absolutely loved this home! The house we originally booked was struck by lightning two days before our trip. We contacted the owner and he was so gracious and helpful in getting us in this house. It was perfect and made our family vacation one of the best! The porch and the views were the best! We had 8 adults and a toddler and it was very comfortable. The golf cart allowed us to get around easy without getting back in our cars. It was our first time at Harbor Island, but it won’t be our last! Would definitely stay at this property again!

Amazing views

The location is suberb as we saw alligators off the deck most days, dolphins swim the river next to the house, spectacular birding, and vistas. Layout was great with the littles one up, 2 sets of parents 2nd level and grandparents on floor 1. Kitchen and living area layout great for entertaining. The kitchen floor needs repair. Would love screens on deck being that close to the marsh because when no breeze they are not usable. A little cleaner is my expectation at this price point. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful trip.

Great Family Trip!

This property was exactly as advertised. We had 6 adults, 2 kids, and a baby and had plenty of room. We loved sitting out on the porch and watching the sunsets over the marsh. We had easy access to grocery stores and the local seafood market was awesome! Having a golf cart was a game changer and super helpful to be able to get all our gear to the beach. The owner is super nice and easy to work with. Overall a great trip! Highly recommend!

Oceanmarsh subdivision.

Great views and location to beaches and clubhouse with nice pool and access to golf cart was a major plus. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation. Host was very accommodating. A good time was held by all.

Beautiful place for a Ladies Weekend!

Our group enjoyed a long weekend at Harbor Island. The porch is an amazing place to rest and relax and the beach is a just a short golf cart ride away. The views are remarkable from inside and outside the house. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Property ‼️

The house is very nice with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is so much room, and we enjoyed sitting on the porches in the morning and late afternoon watching the sunrise and sunset. The golf cart was an added convenience for getting to the beach. The house is ideal for children and large families. This was our third trip and we intend to go back ASAP.

MCRD graduation exceptional stay

Cannot say enough good things about this property. It is beautiful and close enough to MCRD to be handy but enough away for a real celebration. Got to all events easily and quickly in about twenty to twenty five minutes. The house is gorgeous and huge with a well appointed kitchen where we did lots of heavy cooking for our new marine. We fit eleven people comfortably and lots of room to break off and visit. Beach is close and great an fishing was super. The host John is exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. Don’t hesitate! Book now!

Spring break

The property was perfect for our extended family. Everything we needed was available. We absolutely loved the marsh, alligators, watching the osprey nest, and walking along the beaches. The location was perfect. We were able to immerse ourself in local culture and history as well as relax on the decks.

Great Place

We stayed in this house for almost three weeks with up to 8 others depending on the day. It never felt crowded. There are two living areas, but we all hung out in one and it still didn’t feel cramped. There were plenty of chairs, couches and places around the huge dining table. In addition, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we all fit easily. Finally, the house has a wonderful comfortable, homey feel. The house is set in the middle of beautiful salt marshes with views everywhere. It is stunning. We saw alligators, dolphins and many types of sea birds. The beaches have fine soft sand and small, enjoyable waves. Furthermore, even without considering Savannah or Charleston, there are fascinating historic areas right nearby, including the Gullah Penn Center and the town of Beaufort. My recommendation: rent this wonderful house. You’re sure to love the house and its setting.

Great Property

Harbor Island is great

Our family vacationed on Harbor in 2005 and left as homeowners. Currently, we aren't able to visit as often as we like and decided to open our home for others to enjoy.
