Great location, great communication from owner, and very clean. The best part about this house is the view, its absolutely stunning!!! We will be back.
We wanted a get away with a view of Mt Washington-and boy did we get it. Plus the house was very comfortable and a terrific place to hang and enjoy the view. The kitchen was very well appointed. Plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The wood stove kept us toasty and added to our view. Tim, the manager was great. He was very responsive and in touch. We will come back.
We enjoyed this great house with unbelievable views of the White Mountains. Space is abundant, along with plenty of beds and a well-equipped kitchen and good wi fi. The entry road and driveway are steep, requiring good 4 wheel drive/traction control - but it was worth it when you got up the hill to the house!
My family and I had a great stay at this property. The views were incredible and there was plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The home had a lot of character and could use a few updates but overall was very comfortable.
Beautiful view of the mountains and very peaceful and quiet! The house is spacious and very comfortable. We were 3 families with adults and teens and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!
This is a perfect home for anyone traveling with a few families. There is plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved the open floor plan of the living room/kitchen/dining room area and the large deck. The views from this home are spectacular. The area is so peaceful and quiet. The beds are super comfortable. Check in and check out process were both easy. Excellent communication from Tim. We would not hesitate to return for our yearly family vacation.
We are a group of 60-80 year old artists who stayed here for a week to paint the Whites. The house was perfect for the six of us - plenty of space to gather but also space for privacy. Two of us with 4-cylinder Prius cars found the hills on the road to the house and the driveway somewhat challenging. Those with SUV’s were fine.
Perfect location and accomodation for suit everyone…
The house was great for more than one family. The teenage boys had their own area downstairs, the teenage girls had their own area upstairs, and the adults blended in. The location was great, being close to several ski resorts and the host was super responsive to our endless questions prior to the stay. We would definitely go back. Thanks Tim for being so accommodating.

Great house, poor management & safety
Great house... We stayed at this property for our annual 3-generation family weekend getaway in Jackson. We've been staying in this area for years and love the location of this property. The house is big with plenty of room to spread out across three levels, and is generally as described in the listing. The views of Mt Washington are stunning.Poor management... The long, steep driveway was not plowed at check-in after 6 inches of snow. The property manager could not give us an arrival time for the plow and told me to just drive up real fast. This driveway is so steep that our vehicles started sliding backwards when we attempted to get up the hill. The plow truck came 3 hours after check-in, but had a broken sander so couldn't properly sand the driveway. There was a second snow event during our stay, and the driveway didn't get plowed until 8 hours after the storm ended, leaving most of our group stranded in the house for the day. **This created extremely slippery, hazardous conditions for the duration of our stay, right until check-out.** This is 100% unacceptable for a rental home on the side of a mountain, and is a major liability issue.Another safety/security problem - we couldn't lock the house. The electronic keypad on the door was broken, and despite being told it would be fixed right away, it never was. There were other minor annoyances - like a broken washing machine and missing sheets - but the safety problems we so severe-we would not return.
The property has an amazing view! Large house. Large deck. It is as advertised. We had 7 adults and a 4 year old with space to spare! We were all able to view the eclipse on the deck with “wine, cheese and snacks prior to dinner. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The dinner table fit all of us ! The tv subscription was complete and there were games for the kids! Our property manager was a treat to meet and shoveled the deck! We would stay again!
This house had ample room for all four generations of family that stayed: 83yo nana, 64yo parents, 40yo us, and our 6 children ages 5-16.
We struggled with a few things, but Tim was responsive and truly a wonderful caretaker of not only the property, but also in his commitment to us having a wonderful stay.
I wish we had better AWD vehicles because the driveway is steep and AWD is NECESSARY, but there was enough room at the bottom of the driveway for two cars. (Just hard to climb after hiking up and down Mt. Washington in the same day with our five older kids. My 40yo body is still hurting :) ) That said, it was comfortable, clean, beautiful, spacious, and honestly a dream.
You couldn’t have a better property manager than Tim, and I honestly wish he had more properties that fit our large family group. I hope homeowners see this and think of him when looking for a vacation property manager.
In terms of check out, it was super simple. He could absolutely ask more of us, as if you go to PEI there are so many things to keep track of but it was seamless by comparison.
Thank you Tim and thank you very much Mt. Washington!
