WHY WE PICKED TURKS AND CAICOS: Since I was 12 I made it my quest to find the world's best beaches. I told everyone I'd have my bungalow by the ocean with tons of palm trees. I've been to some gorgeous ones, from Maldives, Cook Islands, Bora Bora and beyond. When I married I told my husband retirement included warmth, turquoise water and palm trees. After traveling the world, I found Grace Bay Beach to be the one! I never get tired of those gorgeous neon hues!

Pack the cooler and find your own secluded stretch of Leeward/Pelican Beach and search for giant conch shells to bring back home. Enjoy happy hour at the pool tiki bar with palm thatch roof before heading out to dinner. Barefoot Palms is casual and laid back yet elegant with travertine tiles, granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

Every room has soaring high cathedral ceilings and open living space. The huge master bedroom has a king size bed , walk in closet and writing desk area. 2 other bedrooms have queen size beds; great for families or 3 couples. Each bedroom has its own TV, Cable and DVD players. There's access to Netflix (our account), and YouTube. Individual A/C units in each bedroom and the rest of the house has central air.

A/C $30 daily is included, should you go over you only pay the difference at cost

The open kitchen/dining/living rooms will have you cooking eating and entertaining with all utensils and an extensive movie library. There's a Bluetooth Soundbar for music and recent best selling books for reading enjoyment on the beach.

There are small tropical touches throughout with Tommy Bahama furniture, palm tree and shell cabinet handles, and colorful fish switch plates.

Exceptional Villa in a Superb Location

This villa was exceptional, very clean, and well-stocked with everything needed. The layout is very comfortable and the outside area with pool was lovely. The beds were great. It is an easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Driving to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores was an easy 7 minutes. The owner responds quickly to inquiries.

The ultimate home to rent!!! Loved it!

We stayed at this home for a week! It was perfect! A perfect location… all of the essentials provided at this private home. Fans in every room, security system (although we felt very safe) Had a pool and a tiki bar! The beach is a 5 minute walk… basically had the beach to ourselves! Absolutely stunning waters… turquoise… most beautiful we have ever seen! The house is perfect… 3 bedrooms/2baths, washer and dryer which was great for washing beach towels. Had beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc… no worries about bringing anything like that. Also had all of the kitchen essentials… so glad to have everything and not have to buy miscellaneous items. Will definitely go back after a year or so… Thanks Ramona!

Even better than the pictures!

Great house. Roomy and well laid out. Nice high ceilings. Pool , with towels included. We were able to practice our snorkeling before going to the reef down the street. Everything we needed for beach enjoyment was at hand. Took two fun fishing trips with MnJ charters who were very friendly and professional. We would definitely stay at Barefoot Palms again.

Paradise!

We had the most amazing vacation. This villa is exceptional! It was close to the beach, had enough space for our family and was just perfect. The location is truly fantastic. Loved the location of this very nice property in Provo. Easy check-in, lovely host, super friendly and accomodating property manager, and perfect beaches to visit everyday. Fabulous Experience Renting Barefoot Palms

I highly recommend Barefoot Palms based on our experience renting recently. I traveled with my husband and three young children and the house was perfect for us- close to the beach, the pool was perfect and the outdoor seating well set up for lots of outdoor hanging out. The description of the house and property was very accurate. Ramona was also incredibly helpful leading up to our trip- offering countless recommendations and answering questions about our stay and how to prepare. We had an incredible trip and highly recommend it!

Our Christmas Vacation

The Barefoot Palms Villa exceeded our expectations! It was a beautiful, clean house with vaulted high ceilings which really accented the living space. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. Everyone felt very comfortable sleeping. The outdoor patio with pool and Tiki bar was such fun. There were plenty of lounge chairs and a comfortable sectional to hang out there. The only negative was the construction project which we were warned about. They do start early and the Master BR can hear the work most clearly. One kind of got used to the noise, but I would have preferred less of it. The beach access was very convenient and we all loved Pelican Beach. My husband and I would head over to Sunset beach to do our morning walks toward Grace Bay. All in all a wonderful stay! Fantastic experience. Beautiful.

Party of six, three couple had an amazing stay. The house is actually bigger than the pictures suggest. The pool was a really nice size and the place was very private. No neighbors on either side. The tiki bar was cool and the beach was incredible. We would suggest walking east a bit to explore some of the more private spots. But Grace Bay beach r directly down the street was amazing. We ate at two places, da Conch Shack which was very good. A bit of a wait for the food but everyone enjoyed their meals. Jack was a great and have us some good suggestion. I would say 4/5. Very good. Cocovans was probably some of the best food we’ve ever had. 5/5. The tuna was delicious. Melt in your mouth with a crispy grilled sticky rice. The sauce was fantastic as well. The burger was fantastic and the Big Mac egg rolls were delicious as well. Just can’t say enough good things about this place. Ramona was super quick to get back with us and Jerelle was too. Just be sure to check the Covid testing requirements as we were tested two days before our flight back but the current requirement is one day so we had to get tested again. The only suggestion I. The house would be to utilize the closet better in the small bedroom and maybe rearrange or remove some of the dresser/furniture so the bed for a littler better. 10/10.

Awesome house!

We stayed at this house for a week in March 2022. Our group was my husband, myself, 0ur 12 year old daughter and 2 friends in their 50's. We have stayed in Leeward area before and it is our favorite area due to the best beautiful beaches. It is also close to Long Bay where my husband kite boards and to Grace Bay with lots of great restaurants. Ramona was the best experience I have ever had on VRBO in that she had the most thorough communication prior to our trip. The property manager was extremely kind and helpful and provided any information we needed about the house and the island. This house has a really great pool and we loved the Tiki Bar. Layout is perfect. I cannot say enough good things about it. Also the Tommy Bahama decor is really fun. If you get a chance to book this house-do it! We hope to return.

A week in paradise

Barefoot Palms met our every expectation. The villa was just beautiful and perfect for our family of six. We loved having a private pool and being so close to the beach. Ramona provided everything we needed for a trip to the beach - chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers and a cart to carry them. Sunscreen and bug spray were also available! The kitchen was well equipped for dining in. Jerelle, the property manager was quick to respond to any questions. It was a perfect family trip and a great place to reconnect. Two things: be sure to rent a car so you can explore the island, and if you’re sleeping in the primary bedroom, be aware that there is no door to the bathroom (though the toilet is tucked away). Just so you’re prepared…. I totally recommend this property and hope to return someday soon!

Excellent Getaway

Thanks Ramona for providing an excellent getaway location for our recent family trip to TCI. Barefoot Palms Villa provided every thing we needed to spend a relaxing time together. The Leeward location was quiet yet provided excellent access to all that TCI had to offer. The villa was equipped with everything we needed. Romana provides beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and coolers for any beach excursion. We enjoyed the pool after coming back from our day of exploring or golf. We really liked the location because the villa is located in a secure community, yet only 5 min by car to most excursion pickup locations and the many restaurants and sport bars located in Saltmills Resort area. The villa is nicely decorated in the island vibe and you feel at home almost immediately. Romana was also very helpful in providing discounts to many of the excursions and responded very quickly to all my questions. Of all the companies she recommended, Island Vibes was a disappointment. Even though it is advertised as a half-day trip with snorkeling, we were only given approximately 20 min to snorkel out of 4 hours. So if your goal is to snorkel, look for another company. Thanks Ramona for helping our family enjoy the best of TCI!

Fantastic stay!

Villa was beautiful and full of amenities. Beds were cozy and the patio & pool area all you could ask for. Owner communication was open and she provided fantastic suggestions and literature at the house to make the most of your time on the island. We would definitely return!
