Limited Neighbors: Unlike most apartments, our townhome only shares a common area entrance with one other unit, offering a more intimate and quieter living experience.

Personal Outdoor Space: Our townhome includes a private outdoor area, where you can relax and unwind, enjoying the outdoors without sharing it with a large community.

Attached Garage Convenience: In contrast to apartment parking lots, our attached garage provides you with direct access to your home, ensuring your convenience and security.

great area, property not so much!

Where to begin Noda is nicebut not this place or the owner.... don't be DECEIVED by the pictures posted of this "artsy" apartment. If you define artsy as peeling paint, mismatched furniture, and stained matted carpets with the STAIRWELL that looks like an entrance to a cheap motel (hot &dirty) then this is the place for you! Where is MY button to insert pictures!?!? At first glance the place wasn't terrible, until I had to clean up dog poop from the master bedroom carpet and clean floors that turned my feet black. Moving out to the balcony with a birds eye view of the recycling DUMP I found a dust pan FULL of more DOG POOP....at least that was cleaned up? I did notice the highlights of the dog friendliness of this place and all of NoDa. Not to mention the garage door that does not open with the code or the "dishwasher" that acts more like an oven baking on the food instead of cleaning it....at least you can look forward to a massage in the massage chair after a long night of hand washing dishes....HA! Although when you lay in bed you can feel the entire apartment shake as the train goes by blaring its horn at 5 AM at the crossing right out front. We've gotten this far so lets divulge everything. The air conditioner blows out more dust than cold air and the "cable" that is actually a Roku stick with internet not strong enough to stream...I really do think my old school dial up was faster! None of the issues were addressed and I was told "if I don't like it, get out" She did however offer a reimbursement of HALF after only being there ONE NIGHT! This place is not even worth $100....Save yourself a headache and rent somewhere else.

Perfect for all of our needs!

Grayson is wonderful to work with, very accommodating and responds to any emails or text immediately. The rental is very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I actually loved watching and listening to the trains, and they never woke me. Neighbors are quiet and friendly. I was there alone with my two boys and was a little nervous being so close to the city, but we felt very safe in the area. Noda is a fun, trendy place and Charlotte is an easy 10 minute drive.

Property Was Excellent

This property was exactly as advertised and Grayson was wonderful to work with in coordinating all aspects of the rental. Having the option of the extra cots set up helped our party to ensure that everyone had a bed. Additionally as host, Grayson went out of her way to add to the experience with tea, coffee, pamphlets, etc. to replicate a hotel like experience. As mentioned in other reviews there is some train noise but I believe the walkability to NoDa far outweighs any noise and host provides plenty of ear plugs if needed.

Exactly as seen

Grayson place was exactly as seen here. Two bedrooms, roommate style and a small balcony off the master. It was clean and decorated well. As others have mentioned here. Very close to the NoDa strip of shops and restaurants. Very nice walk from the apartment to the strip. There were only two setbacks: First- the train runs all day and night; it's right across the street. Very loud and runs late at night, can interrupt your sleep. She provides ear plugs but for the light sleeper-this will remain a challenge for you. Second- she has a 100.00 cleaning fee but requires you to strip the beds and gather all linen and trash throughout the home; loading the washing machine and dishwasher, and throwing out the trash. You must also start the dishwasher and washing machine before you leave. With a cleaning fee, I don't expect to do this. It's the cleaning services job. There's no grace period on the keyless lock. Well if there is then it's really short. At 10:04, we realized we'd forgotten to put the garage opener back. Was running late due to having to clean the home, so we had to call her and place the opener in the driveway for the maid that was waiting in a SUV in the parking lot. Overall the home was pretty and convenient to everything.

Beautiful property in NoDa!

Grayson was very helpful during the process before, during and after our stay. The location was perfect for our group, as it was only about 10 minutes from the Time Warner Cable Arena which was where our event was being held. The house was pristine when we got there, and while we did have 7 people staying, it was very accommodating and there was plenty of room!

Perfect Place, Great Neighborhood

This place was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. We maxed out at 8 people and was a bit worried about comfortable accommodations but owner provided plenty of pillows, blankets, air mattress, eye masks for darkness, ear plugs for the train, slippers, some bath lotion, and a nice basket of treats upon arrival. Yes, there is a train, commuter and commercial that goes by but ample earplugs provided and didn't bother our group who all came from busy cities, trains are like urban crickets. The neighborhood NoDa was easily walkable, lots of good places to eat & drink, and local art & beer scene on point. Owner allowed an early check in for travelers come from far away which was nice. Thanks for a great stay and memorable weekend!!!

good place, good location,

The condo is exactly as advertised. It is very close to the train tracks but the owner provides ear plugs which are essential for a good night sleep. As of August 2015 there was a lot of construction both on the condo common area and the light rail infrastructure outside the front of the building. However we only used the condo at night so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. It would have been negative if we spent the day on the property. NoDa is a bit far to walk if you have health issues as I have back problems.

Was everything as it was advertised. Perfect accommodations. Only drawback was being right next to those train tracks. Other than that, the stay at this property was perfect!

The location was perfect. Very convenient to most attractions and allowed me to see the city outside of the "regularly toured" areas since I'm looking to move to NC. Beautiful home, some construction but overall the accommodations, owner, and location were inviting and beyond satisfactory.

Urban Foody Artsy Quaint

This home was perfect for two couple traveling together. Both rooms have private baths and the home is decorated tastefully and comfortably. The owner went over and above to provide all the little extras from a welcome box of treats to coffee fixings! The home is also conveniently located within walking distance to great local restaurants-Cabo Fish Tacos was our favorite!-shops, a great gym and churches. The one thing that made this wonderful place a four star rather than a five was noise from neighbors partying until the wee hours more than once and trains running regularly even through the night right across the street. There is a crossing there so the train would blow its horn every time it came through too. The owner did leave ear plugs but I did suggest leaving better ones or bring your own! Having said that, we would rent here again because the home is marvelous and the owner more than gracious!

Great stay, perfect location.

We truly enjoyed our stay at SoHo South. The condo was were very spacious, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. We had want for nothing as toiletries, cleaning supplies, coffee and snacks were provided. Grayson was accommodating and helpful as we had a few questions with this being our first airbnb experience. She made the process quite simple and offered resources of local restaurants and events to attend during our stay. The location is perfectly situated to uptown Charlotte and in the heart of NoDa. We were able to walk to the various restaurants in NoDa for breakfast (The Daily Press) and dinner (Boudreaux's), which were about a 10 minute walk from the condo. I would highly recommend visiting again.

Wonderful location and property

This property is great and cozy. I enjoyed the comforting bed and warm feeling it has. The location is great just minutes from Uptown and easy to travel. I would recommend this property for rental. However, there is just one down side it is not a good location for the elderly the stairs are a bear, but for me it provided exercise walking up and down.

Convenient and Comfortable

Really great condo, super convenient to downtown and just down the street from fun restaurants and bars in NoDa. Well equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Only downside is being near the train tracks and the frequency of trains, but we got used to it quickly. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Time Had By All!

We loved our weekend stay at this property! There were eight of us girls staying there, and Grayson was incredibly accommodating from the second we got there with the mattresses, linens, pillow mints, and treats in the kitchen! It was a really fun area and we all wish we could have stayed longer to explore. The restaurants and breweries were great and we were so close to downtown! We had one issue with the upstairs being much warmer than downstairs. Opening the windows helped, but also let in more of the train noises. Other than that we had no complaints! It was a perfect stay and we all felt so welcomed and comfortable! I would definitely recommend this property!

Great location to stay, close to Uptown

There was plenty to do and the host was amazing. The home was very clean and offered extra perks like welcome snacks, usb outlets, sound chairs, flat screen tvs with Roku and Netflix access in every room and most importantly free wifi. The train passes regularly but we realized we had gotten used to it after awhile. We were exhausted after being out all day and slept through the night without the earplugs. We loved all the restaurants and live entertainment in NoDa. It's also a Quick cab ride to Uptown.

Not our best experience

I like the VRBO system because you can usually get into a nice accommodation for a lesser price than a hotel. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case and this was one of them. This condo is right next to a railroad track where trains run all night long and we realized there was something up when we got to the master bedroom and there was a large container of earplugs...which didn't help much. The water pressure isn't very good and the shower screamed at us the whole time we took a shower. The location is ok...if you like a section of town that is starting to be built up, but you won't be near uptown. There are a few interesting restaurants nearby and we did have a good dinner at the Crepe place and a good cup of coffee at the Smelly Cat. The unit does have a garage which was nice and the little section of town known as NoDa is within walking distance. There were 4 of us, over the age of 50, staying at the home and, unfortunately, none of us can recommend this place for a vacation.

Great Property

Grayson was a wonderful host and has a great space, its spacious and comfortable. Everything in the apartment was in top shape with great décor. I rented this space for my sister while she was in town and she loved it. Its located in a great neighborhood and it is also right outside of uptown.
