When you reach the driveway, enjoy the sights and sounds of the Toccoa river as the gas lanterns on the front porch light your way home. Once you step inside, you'll be drawn to the soaring windows that showcase the river views, welcoming you into the upscale living space. Gather in the living room, where comfy furnishings invite you to unwind and enjoy the warm ambiance of the indoor gas log fireplace that seamlessly transitions to the 8 person island and upscale kitchen. Outside on the expansive deck you'll find a wood burning fireplace, gas grill, dining table, rocking chairs, and seating area that all overlook the Toccoa. The name "Toccoa" means beautiful in Cherokee and you can certainly see why as the specific stretch in front of our property is affectionately known as the "rock garden," where the soothing sounds of water cascading over large boulders create a calming ambiance and continuously stir the fresh aroma of minerals in the air. Another highlight on the property is the famous Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, a small passenger train that takes adventurists on a nostalgic journey through the charming Appalachian foothills of North Georgia. It passes just below the house a couple of times a day during most seasons offering the fun opportunity to wave or dance a jig for the joyful passengers.

Off the Hook features three king bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a half bath. The remaining bedroom is equipped with two built in bunk beds (3 XL twins and 1 queen) and a convenient staircase for easy access. Relax in the plush beds offering high quality mattresses, pillows, and linens. Unwind in the two soaking tubs located on each level of the cabin. Every room, including the bedrooms, living room, and lower screened deck, is equipped with its own TV, ensuring entertainment and relaxation at your fingertips.

Downstairs is where the outside seamlessly flows inside through the large custom flip up window. Lounge on the plush, queen size sleeper sofa and watch your favorite movie or game on the big screen TV. Entertain with the Sonos Sound System & Ipad Control, 1000+ game arcade, and the wet bar that opens up to the massive screened-in deck. Enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage with the convenience of a Keurig coffee maker, wine cooler, ice maker, and dishwasher in the wet bar. The downstairs deck has plenty of space for everyone along with an outdoor big screen TV, wood burning fireplace, 11 ft shuffle board, ping pong, 6 person game/dining table, and an oversized hot tub.  The under-deck waterproofing system and screened in porch elevates your outdoor leisure, allowing you to enjoy your company without worry.

Take the short trail that leads down to the river area and explore the flat riverfront to your heart's content. Toccoa River Outfitters offers premium fly fishing lessons right in front of the property as they have installed two fish feeders and there is easy access for wading or kayaks/drift boats. Drive 10 minutes north to Curtis Switch, park and take a fun hour long float directly to the cabins front yard, or take a 2 hour float from the cabin to Horseshoe Bend Park or downtown McCaysville and grab a bite or a beverage. Be sure to check the Blue Ridge Dam release schedule as they release the lake water daily and the river quickly becomes much swifter and deeper during that time. There is plenty to do, both at the cabin, within the community and in nearby Blue Ridge making "Off the Hook" a perfect choice for whatever kind of getaway fits your style.
