Janky garage renovated room
The host was nice, but there was so much wrong with this place! Photos don’t show the poor quality of the renovation of these rooms. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it felt like a futon, but worse. One of the pillows smelled horrible. When the neighbor used their sink, i could (loudly) hear the water running through the drain through my sink. The sink in the kitchenette did not have hot water to clean any dishes used. The toilet squealed for several second after every flush. The shower was nearly impossible to get to a temperature that wasn’t either scalding hot or freezing cold. I was also accosted by the host’s father or grandfather when leaving one day. While not scary, I believe he may have had memory issues, it was a highly unusual experience. He was trying to communicate to me, but did not speak English. He was holding an empty vinegar jar and a jar full of coins? I was trying to understand, but couldn’t. I needed to get to an appointment, but could not pull out without hitting him with my rear view mirror. Overall, I would not stay there again.
