Villa Poggio Scalette has all of the comforts of a luxury home, with the classic view of Tuscany’s rolling hills that you dream about when you think about the region. Over 200 olive trees adorn our property, many of them over 100 years old.

Living Space: With 3 spacious bedrooms and the torreta (loft) along with 4 well-appointed bathrooms, our villa can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. Every room promises air conditioning and a spacious armoire.

Stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills (best enjoyed from the private terrace).

Modern Amenities: Ensuring your stay is nothing short of perfect, the villa is equipped with modern amenities, maintaining a delicate balance between the rustic charm of Tuscany and the conveniences of contemporary living.

Exclusive Access to pool and amenities at adjacent agriturismo: Our guests have access to a special perk through our partnership with Agriturismo 43.10 located right next door. For just €10 per person per day, you have access to their infiniti pool, complete with lounge chairs and clean towels. This exclusive rate is available only to our guests, payable directly to the management of the pool. Our house Host, can explain details or answer any questions upon arrival.

Strategically located between Florence (40 min) and Lucca (20 min) and an hour to the Chianti Classico wine region as well as Bolgheri (Sassicaia, Ornellaia Sapaio etc)

Montecatini Alto is a short 15-minute walk or 8-minute drive. This charming hilltop village is from ancient Roman times, has its own castle, excellent restaurants and bars, and mesmerizing views.

Montecatini Terme is a quick drive downhill. It’s a great place to shop, eat and relax, with boutique shops, excellent dining spots and renowned spas.

While our villa is tucked away in a private, serene setting, it is also conveniently located just 10 minutes from major grocery stores and shopping outlets.

A Dream Getaway
Villa Poggio Scalette was truly a dream place to stay on our vacation. The pictures cannot do this beautiful home justice - you have to see it for yourself!! The view, the amazing property, the Tuscan touches in the decorating with all the modern amenities - we already cannot wait to go back!!! We slept so comfortably and had everything we needed at the house for some relaxing afternoons and evenings enjoying wine, good food, and the view :) Our host Simone was very communicative and so helpful with tips of local places to visit and to eat. The location was perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, etc. and the town of Montecatini Therme has plenty to do as well. We have traveled a fair amount and this is by far our favorite place we’ve ever stayed.

Wonderful house in the Tuscan Hills
This property was exactly as advertised - An updated Tuscan villa high up on the hills in the olive groves. The views were amazing and the amenities were great. We loved having coffee from the upstairs balcony and eating outside on the terrace. Wifi signal was very strong if you have to work. The girls loved the 3rd floor nook and having lots of space. Both Lauren and Simone were great to work with and Simone gave us lots of real time recommendations and helped us make dinner reservations. We were able to use the pool club next door which was a huge perk. Location was great near Montecatini Alto and close to lots of great cities, but really felt like you were living in Tuscany.

A magical stay at Villa Poggio Scalette
We want to share our incredible experience at Villa Poggio Scalette, nestled a few kilometers from Montecatini. We rented a car in Florence and took a scenic one-hour drive to the villa. Upon arrival, Simone, the property manager, greeted us warmly at the gate and gave us a thorough tour, making us feel instantly at home. The villa is stunning—tastefully decorated with rooms that overlook olive trees and the charming town of Montecatini. We felt secure thanks to the gated parking. On our first morning, we indulged in a delightful continental breakfast for just 10 euros. The local pastries, croissants, and espresso were the perfect start to our day, and the service was impeccable. As avid walkers, we explored Montecatini’s old town, just a 10-minute walk from the villa. The town boasts amazing views, quaint cafes, and fantastic restaurants around the square. We also rode the funicular down to the main city—an absolute must. Montecatini is famous for its thermal baths, and we couldn’t resist visiting Stabilimento Termale Tamerici for a relaxing day. Simone, who also owns the best gelateria in town, recommended excellent dining spots. Pizzeria Il Gallo was a standout for its incredible food at great prices. For steak lovers, Simone reserved us a table at La Baita, where we enjoyed an unforgettable evening with special treatment. Villa Poggio Scalette is conveniently close to Florence, Lucca, and Forte dei Marmi. We highly recommend this magical villa and can't wait to return!

La mia esperienza a Villa Poggio Scalette a Montecatini Alta è stata eccezionale, un rifugio perfetto durante il mio viaggio di lavoro. La villa, immersa nelle colline toscane, offre una combinazione ideale di storia, comfort e tranquillità, con facile accesso a Lucca e Montecatini Terme, a pochi minuti dall'Autostrada nelle vicinita’ di Firenze e Lucca e Vinci. Abbiamo scelto una colazione all’italiana, servita direttamente in villa per soli 10 euro a persona. Tuttavia, c’è anche la possibilità di richiedere una colazione intercontinentale o persino un servizio di cucina in casa come extra, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più personalizzata. L'accoglienza di Simone, il gestore della villa, è stata calorosa e professionale. Ci ha guidati attraverso la proprietà, spiegando tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno per il nostro soggiorno, e fornendo ottimi consigli sui ristoranti e le attrazioni locali. La pulizia è ottima, e gli spazi sono curati nei minimi dettagli, rendendo il soggiorno confortevole e rilassante. La vista sulle colline toscane è mozzafiato, creando un'atmosfera di totale serenità. Ho appreso che sono in corso dei miglioramenti per la primavera del 2025, tra cui una jacuzzi all'aperto, che arricchirà ulteriormente l'esperienza.
