About this property
3 Bedroom condo on Lake Michigan - Homestead Resort - M-22 - Glen Arbor
3 Bedroom condo on Lake Michigan - Homestead Resort - M-22 - Glen Arbor
Come enjoy the fabulous Fall colors in this updated condo with living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, (2) full baths, and an elevated outdoor deck with brand new cable railings overlooking Lake Michigan. Sleeps (8)
Awesome location inside the Homestead Resort on Lake Michigan's scenic Sleeping Bear Sand Dune beach and the Crystal River: Enjoy two pristine bodies of water with views of Lake Michigan, the Crystal River, the beach, sunsets, the Manitou Islands, and Sleeping Bear Point.
Minimum 7 Night Stay in July & August: Saturday to Saturday. Otherwise, minimum 2 Night Stay any nights.
The condo includes heat and air conditioning, private gated parking, TV/cable, WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, linens, (3) HD TV's and extra tall Adirondack deckchairs to view the amazing sunsets.
In the winter you can enjoy the Homestead Resort ski hill for downhill excitement! Or explore the National Shoreline on cross country skis and snowshoes! There are miles of trails inside the Resort and more just a short drive away.
In the summer you can float the shallow, warm waters of the Crystal River or float atop the rolling waves of Lake Michigan! Walk the beach or stroll alongside the boardwalk which stretches for blocks just outside the condo building. And the new-extended paved bike path comes right up to the entrance of the Homestead Resort.
The town of Glen Arbor is only 2 miles from the Resort right down scenic M-22. The entire Leelanau Peninsula has a relaxing atmosphere for a great get-away vacation: no mega malls, no traffic lights, no chain fast food places, no dwellings above three stories, no chain hotels. But, if you are looking for that kind of variety, the town of Traverse City is only 20 miles away!
Leelanau county has vineyards/wineries, 5 or 6 charming coastal villages where you will find galleries, boutiques, cottage book stores, local farm markets, concerts, exhibits, festivals, unique shops/stores, fudge, a ferry to escort you to/from South Manitou Island, local fishing charters, private sailboats/yachts, and dining from casual to five star (my favorite, Labacasse, a country French restaurant in nearby Burdickville). And Leelanau county has exceptional scenery, rolling countryside terrain, wildlife abounding, golf, tennis, downhill and cross country skiing, biking and hiking trails, plenty of nature and plenty of friendly people who love the out-of-doors. Glen arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau county: a place like no other in the world.
Note: this rental does not include access to the Homestead pools or tennis courts. You WILL have access to all of the resort amenities that are open to the public, such as all of the grounds and beach area, public restaurants, golf (ski hill in the winter), spa, salon, and the shops in the Village. Public tennis courts are available in Glen Arbor.
