About this property

Unbeatable View Ski-in Ski Out!

Summary:
Nestled at the heart of Beech Mountain's slopes, discover our 4-bedroom, 3-bath alpine abode. Breathe in crisp mountain air and marvel at endless long-range vistas right from your window. Indoors, luxury meets comfort; outdoors, nature's theater unfolds. Whether you're igniting fireside tales, embarking on slope adventures, or soaking in sunset panoramas, this home promises a North Carolina escape that's both timeless and transformative. Welcome home!

The Neighborhood:
Welcome to the pristine surroundings of 100 Beech Top Road! Beech Mountain, NC is not just a location—it's an experience. Elevating your senses at 5,506 feet, this neighborhood promises an escape where nature and recreation blend seamlessly.

Here, every season paints a new picture: winters are a white wonderland perfect for skiing; spring brings blossoms and crisp hikes; summers offer cool retreats from the lowland heat, and fall showcases a vibrant tapestry of colors.

Around the corner, you'll find charming local eateries, artisan shops, and friendly mountain folk ready to share their tales. The nearby slopes beckon skiers and snowboarders, while hiking trails offer introspective journeys through dense forests and open meadows.

In this highland community, peace meets adventure, and 100 Beech Top Road places you right at the heart of it all. Come, be a part of this mountain symphony!

Getting Around:
Navigating Beech Mountain is part of the exhilarating experience that the highlands offer. While the main roads are well-maintained and easily accessible, a sense of adventure is key when exploring our unique nooks and crannies.

100 Beech Top Road, in particular, is nestled in a more secluded spot. During heavy snowmaking periods, the final stretch to our property becomes a winter wonderland, where the landscape is blanketed in shimmering white. This section is steep and can become a challenge for standard vehicles. To ensure your safety and comfort, we recommend a 4-wheel drive equipped with chains if you plan to drive up during these times.

However, for those who enjoy a touch of nature's raw beauty, walking may be your go-to mode of transport during these snowy spells. It’s a delightful trek that immerses you in the mountain’s serene ambiance, but be sure to wear suitable footwear and attire.

No matter how you choose to travel, Beech Mountain ensures a journey as memorable as the destination!

Ski-In Ski-Out Heaven

The home is truly in the snow and has the most amazing view around. The home has everything you need for a nice stay. The beds are comfortable, and the furniture is clean. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils needed to prepare meals, except there were no spices, except salt/pepper, at all in the kitchen. No biggie. You will be at the upper ski slope of Beech Mtn Ski Resort where they make snow daily, which causes the homes here to be covered in snow. You can watch the skiers all day and up to 10pm every night. It is a wonderful place. We arrived to 6-foot snowdrifts all the way covering the road into the house and had to walk a slippery path to the door. There were literally 4 feet of snow on the top decks that never melted. It was really cool, just be prepared to walk. It was beautiful. But PSA...Be prepared to unload a long way down the hill and lug your suitcases up a steep hill. Plus, you have to park in the city parking areas. You have to watch where you park, because they will have your car towed if you don't park in the right place. I understand there is limited space, but some of the neighbors are really intense about it. I would totally recommend you go to this home if you love skiing and aren't afraid to get in some hiking. I would not recommend small children because of all the hiking and inside the home has a loft overlooking the living room that seems not suitable for children. If you would like a snow adventure, visit this home. You will love it.

Incredible views and great layout

We enjoyed our time here. Once the snow clouds lifted the views were stunning, something you normally drive far into the mountains for and can only see from your car or a hike. Just awesome. The hill up to the property is not for the feint of heart, and not something you can easily access after significant recent snow. We had to hike up a steep hill with our stuff to access the property. We were ok with it but anyone with medical issues preventing a steep climb up a snowy hill might want to book this in the summer! All in all a great experience and great property.
