Just a place to stay

Not what I expected, needs newer kitchen supplies. One of the microwaves didn’t work. As soon as we arrived a maintenance worker came to fix the plumbing. Very sparse on amenities.

Great location, Home Updates Needed

We rented both homes for a family reunion during the 2024 Thanksgiving week. A total of 14 adults stayed and it was very comfortable for all, even had a couple of extra bedrooms that were never used.The location was excellent with lots of eating and shopping options near by. The drive to downtown was very simple and allowed us to do some sightseeing around Memphis.The houses themselves need a little love, though. Many cockroaches were killed throughout the week. Bathroom fixtures were hard to work due to their age. The kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, etc) were not stocked as we have come to expect from doing these reunions for the last 30 years. We received no communication about things to expect during the week (trash pickup, departure duty info, etc), so we were at a loss there.We had a great time as a family during the week and the houses were comfortable enough for all, but some of the amenities just need some care and upgrades before I would give them a higher rating.

I wouldnt stay here again, they owe me money as well!

The properties were dirty and dusty when we arrived with multiple broken things. A towel rod in each of the houses were off and just placed there, the fence was falling down, one of the tubs leaked, dirty enough to have a dead bug on the floor in addition not being generally clean. To top it off they charge for the dog (despite not listing it). I paid immediately in good faith, then 2 days prior to the trip I found out that the dog would not be coming and notified them. Was in communication the whole time they agreed to refund it and never did now they wont respond, VRBO wont help because they cant get ahold of the landlord and I am out an additional $250. They also dont provide the correct entry info for one of the houses so we had to get in touch to get in. Leading up to the trip their communication was very poor as well. Stay away!
