About this property

A lovely space (570 square footage) located on Upper Main Street in Edgartown. Accommodates 2 adults & 2 teenagers ages 15 & up. Seapines is steps away from marketing, bike path and Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority. A 10 minute walk to down town proper of which boasts shopping and galleries in which you can find all sorts of eclectic treasures to spice up your wardrobe or to compliment your home decor. Viewing the harbor while snacking on an ice cream cone is always fun.
Bend in the Road Beach, is a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute bike ride. 3 miles to Katama South Beach. The property is located in a commercially zoned area, therefore easy access to all your needs.
The Transit Authority is easy when the summer traffic has hit its peak, therefore a vehicle is not necessary. The bus can take you anywhere on Island for a minimal fee. Parking is available at Seapines for 1 automobile.
Outside shower and outdoor grill is communal.
We are pleased to provide outdoor "Ring" camera service located on each side of Seapines. This is added protection for our guests.
Please make auto reservations first before booking Seapines 3.

This quaint home is ideal for a small family vacation or a couple's getaway. 4 maximum capacity, 15 years of age & up.

The kitchen is a small galley kitchen with refrigerator and stove, .microwave, blender. Perfect for small food preparations. The gas grill sits on the deck. Full bath, The living space consists of two spacious rooms, one with a queen bed , comfortable reading areas, and high pine wood ceiling. The other has a dining table with 4 chairs, 2 daybeds that covert into 2 twin beds. Cable TV.
Seapines landscape is subtle and elegant. There are various indigenous plant material throughout the yard. The gardener (me) who has no background in landscape design, is very proud of the blossoms, color and fragrance. Hopefully a Hummingbird will swing by and say hello. The various greenery, bushes shrubs and trees offers privacy in a very busy summer resort town. Fishing in Lobsterville, Jaws Bridge or various other locations is always fun.

The property sleeps 2 adults and 2 teenagers ages 15+ comfortably. . Overall, 4 guests is FULL CAPACITY. Please do not exceed guest capacity or it will be up to the owners discretion to request you find other lodgings at your own expense. If an unanticipated guest happens to spend the night, the $300. security fee will be forfeited. It is an open floor plan. Bathroom is private . WIFI

LOST & FOUND; Any belongings left after your departure can be returned to the guest upon request. The cost of shipping, packaging, & handling plus a $25 dollar stipend will be deducted from the $300. security deposit.

Great vacation!

Gigi (and Don) was a very thoughtful, attentive, and accommodating host - such a pleasure to meet. Although we brought our car in order to more easily travel to more distant parts of the island and to have greater flexibility, we love to walk, and Sea Pines was within a short walk to Bad Martha’s, bicycle rentals, Stop & Shop, some nice restaurants, and less than a mile/under a 20 minute walk to downtown Edgartown. No need to find a parking space! Main roads leading to Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, Chilmark, Aquinnah, Menemsha, and even a gas station are all handily nearby. The setting was very comfortable, pleasant and quiet. As a separate-entrance wing attached to the owner’s residence, it’s more of a traditional country cottage setting; not at all remote, but still kind of a nice, chill setting.

Location location and delightful host

This property was perfect to walk to Edgartown to shop or to dine. 100 yards from a grocery store 50 yards from a Dairy Queen with plenty of walkable dining options in every direction. We rented bikes but you don’t need to but if you wanted to you could be within 1 to 2 miles of the best beach on the island. The statement about not needing a car is entirely accurate as the bus stop is right at the end of the road and can take you anywhere but parking is provided for one car which we had. The outside shower was fabulous as you could Cut your group showers in half. The accommodations for the two teens we’re on a very comfortable trundle bed and the adults had a very comfortable queen bed. Gigi has provided a privacy screen which aided separating the two living spaces for privacy. Large capacity washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen allowed us to make breakfasts and dinners as necessary. And the coup de grace was definitely our hosts Gigi and Don. Great to get to know them look forward to next year.

Perfect for us

Gigi was very responsive and friendly. The property was exactly as described and a great location for us (we were attending a wedding in town). Also a stop and shop within a 5min walk a 10-15 min drive from airport; an 18 min walk to town or a 10 min public bus ride.

Great property! Great host! I highly recommend!

This rental was perfect for our week long stay on Martha’s Vineyard. The space is comfortable, nicely decorated with great attention to detail and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. The outdoor area is a perfect place to relax with a nice deck, hammock and wonderful hot tub! We made good use of the bbq grill and hot tub. The outdoor shower is a great plus. The location of the property is beyond excellent. It’s a short work to several stores, restaurants and the stop for a free shuttle bus to "downtown" Edgartown and the harbor. The shuttle stop is also the stop for VTA buses allowing for easy exploration of the entire island. The host, Gigi, was very welcoming and accommodating. Communication was excellent. She was always quick to respond to my questions before arrival and during our stay. Great property! Great host! I highly recommend!

Fantastic location for island stay

This was a perfect place to stay for our family's trip to Martha's Vineyard. It is located a short walk to a liquor store, grocery store, tackle shop, ice cream, and the bus stop. We managed (with two kids 5 & 7) without a car, relying mainly on the bus. It is very doable. The walk into Edgartown is under a mile. Gigi lives in the adjacent house and was available to help us with the grill and answer questions, but the apartment felt private.

Great place for a short stay.

We had a wonderful time staying in this place. Great location very close to down town of EdgarTown. Grocery and wine store was within walking distance. It is a quiet little place with a nice backyard. Only problem we faced was cooking. There is no vent over the cooking range. So the whole place smelled when we tried to cook. Other than that it was perfect.

Terrific hosts. Nice yard, Cute apartment, lovely decor. Nice washer/dryer. All of the amenities of home. Walk to stop & shop supermarket, and restaurant, Sharkey’s. Great location. 2 minute drive to Edgartown for shopping and dining. Short drive to South Beach. We will definitely be back!

Quiet apartment close to Edgartown

Perfect location walking distance to grocery store and right off the bike path and bus lines. About a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Edgartown. Cute apartment, comfortable queen sized bed, great shower, small kitchen, cable TV, washer/dryer in the unit. Gigi (owner) lives on site and was available to answer questions or help if needed but respects privacy too.

Charming. cozy and convenient to all

From the moment we stepped onto the property we could tell we were in for a treat. Everything was warm and inviting and had charming touches of Vineyard living. Gigi is very friendly and always available for any questions/requests you may have. We had vacillated whether or not to take our car and are so glad we did not. The property is close to the buses that run and take you everywhere on the island. Gigi is very friendly and always available for any questions/requests you may have. Wonderful Rental! Has everything you need and more

This rental was perfect for our stay in Martha's Vineyard. It's a quick drive from the airport, has plenty of space and A.C., off-street parking, a full kitchen, an outdoor shower and a hot tub. It's a short walk or bike ride to town and it's also right next to a grocery store, liquor store and restaurants. Gigi (the owner) was a great host and made sure we were all taken care of. Perfect Location and Hospitality

This will be our third year staying at this rental (July 2016). The apartment is charming and has everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect. Having a washer/dryer in the unit is a huge plus. The apartment is immaculately cleaned and ready for our arrival. Our host, Gigi, is available when needed, but gives you plenty of privacy. She is friendly and ready to do whatever is needed to make your stay perfect. I highly recommend her rentals.

I grew up in this cottage in the summer time. The original property was a small shucking shack purchased by my parents. With their originality and creativity, the shack became a home. I purchased Seapines in 1995 and added the 5th addition.

I love this property for many reasons. The flow of the land and the convenient location, just a walk to do daily errands. Seapines 3 is the most economical choice for what it has to offer in Edgartown. Washer/dryer, outside shower/full bath, grill. Clean, comfortable and easy. Romantic for couples, small family oriented.
