Wonderful location with comfortable beds

Wonderful location and comfortable beds. Close to Times Square and the theatre district. We really enjoyed the room with the two double beds with air conditioning and two large TVs.

Father/Daughter trip

Property was is a great location. We walked everywhere, to two shows, several museums and restaurants.Accommodations, while a little small, that is to expected in NYC. Shower pressure was excellent.Felt safe in the neighbourhood at all times !!Plenty of good restaurants and dinners within just a few blocksWould stay there again for sure!!

Good location, small space

Just know that the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms so the other bedroom guest needs to go through to get there. 10 minute walk to Time Square, Rockefeller Center or Empire State Building. Good location for access to the theater district as well.

Great location

Enjoyed the easy access to everything Manhattan has to offer. Great staff. Only critique is that we had to run the AC units to circulate the air to mask an odor. Just buy a scented candle and you’ll be fine. Otherwise a 5 star location.

Our stay

The location is awesome! Your with i. Walking distance to A LOT of places. The room is ok and its easy tonget to the building. The front desk staff is helpful as well. The elevator is small and cramped and hot. They do not provide washcloths and you have to take out your own garbage.

Good location and price, but not much else

The deadbolt didn’t lock. The shower created a weird vacuum that pushed the curtain against you the entire time of showering. Somebody came in the room one of the days while we were out exploring and took the tv remote. Tried messaging the host, but got no response for the remainder of the stay. The bathroom ceiling had a huge hole in it covered by a piece of fabric. Would rent again for the price and location, but would bring my blink camera and a door security wedge.

Convenient location

Accurate listing, great location. We were traveling with one in wheelchair and the elevator that was working was so small we had to get him out of the chair in order to use it. The other elevator was not in service and we were promised it would be fixed the second day but it was not. There was a couple of nails poking out of the floor in our room that we put a towel over so as not to step on. It is a cool old building with lots of history though.

Great location

Great location but didn’t have head boards for the beds, there was no couch as in the pictures. Fairly clean for the most part. You’re paying for the location which can’t get any better. I’m super picky on cleanliness so I would give it a 3/5. It’s a step down from a 4 star hotel. Would stay there again overall

The photos are extremely misleading. It's one bedroom and a bed in the living room area. It smelled horrible. There were too many issues

Complete scam

Terrible experience. This is a scam. We were not provided our room number or door code by the host. Awful communication. The room is NOTHING like the one pictured. There’s no couch. There was no running hot water. No remote for the tv. Dirty stained pillows. Broken furniture. Beds were horrible flimsy mattresses on a metal frame. The knob on the bathroom “door” fell off when you tried to close it. There were 4 of us, 2 that are not a couple and couldn’t share a bed. Only 2 stained bath towels provided, but that didn’t matter since the shower didn’t work. We had to book 2 new hotel rooms elsewhere and it was expensive because it was New Year’s Eve in NYC. I was told I would get a full refund after sending pictures to vrbo. The host only refunded half. STAY AWAY!

Very Happy!

This was a very nice space for my 22 year daughter and I to get in some broadway shows! Separate rooms to sleep in with separate TVs, clean! Nice fridge and microwave for us too. Felt very safe and yet close to times square. I would only suggest to get heavier shower curtain or different shower nozzle as the curtain would blow right on you while you tried to soap up. Nearly impossible to shower without someone else holding the curtain away from the outside. Otherwise I highly recommend this place and definitely stay again.

Family trip

Great location; overall clean however HORRIBLE communication re: arrival and departure. Only received email stating times of arr/depart but no entry info (and everything is electronic entry). We were able to check in at front desk (had to call the on call staff person who was helpful but no explanation given re: why we didn’t receive and additional details). Prior to departure I online chatted with VRBO rep - inquiring about checkout details and they were not able to help. Kept telling me “contact the owner) which I did not have number or access to. Perhaps it’s the type of property - but very different than any other VRBO experience as far as communication.

Perfect Location!

This property was excellent in many ways! It is located at the heart of midtown between 5th and 6th Avenues. Walking distance to almost anything you could possible want in NYC!! We will come back and stay again.
