Great option for multiple families and close to Dreams Park
We had a great stay at this property. The property manager was easy to work with and very helpful as he even blew up the floaties we bought for the pool. It was conveniently located and was comfortable for the 4 adults and 2 children that traveled with us. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Cooperstown's Dreams Park. Thank you for a great stay.
This house was super cute. It’s an old, east coast farmhouse, that has all the charm and quirks that you would expect. It was perfect for our family while our son was playing at CDP. The owners are super kind and very responsive. The only bummer was that the front porch had been destroyed by a tree that fell weeks before we arrived. I wish we would have been able to use the porch, but other than that our stay was great!
This was a nice property. Stayed there July 2022 (just noticed I didn’t leave review a year ago). Just a few minutes from dreams park. Really nice to get to the park in the morning. Had some issues with the pool when arrived but owner was very responsive to fixing the issue and answering any questions I had. Good owner and good stay!
While the proximity to the park was great, we were very disappointed with the exterior of the property. It was nothing like the pictures on the listing, as the landscaping was overgrown and most shockingly the front porch was completely missing and under construction. This major issue was not relayed to us prior to our arrival. The owners did let us know that the pool was not available because the lining was ripped and they hadn't been able to have it repaired yet. (They refunded us $200 for this inconvenience)
The inside was clean and comfortable, however the sofas are very worn. The owner said they had ordered new furniture months ago, but it had not arrived. The pictures in the post appear to be from several years ago. The owners were kind, but the property needs better upkeep. We were not able to host our team families due to the appearance of the property. Overall, We felt we did not get what we paid for. Hopefully, they have repaired pool, front porch and lawn since our stay in June.
Nice property. Owners were very good about communicating and responding to any issues we had. Very close to the fields which is nice if you have a large gap between games.
This house was perfect for us. We had two families stay. We came in for a week for our tournament at Cooperstown Dream Park. This house is literally 7 minutes from the park. You couldn't ask for a better location. Less than 10 minutes away from restaurants and the grocery store. We had everything that we needed ... fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, linens, etc. The pool was a plus for the kids to swim in when we had down time. I would highly recommend this home to anyone coming in for baseball or just need a peaceful retreat.
Have stayed twice, will again. Only small negative is the smoke alarms when cooking or using the toaster. Great place, overall.

Clean, comfortable and well appointed.
The house was clean and inviting. My best friend and I spent the weekend going to the Hall of Fame which was only ten minutes down the road. I read the review of the sensitive smoke detectors and it was not exaggerated. The range hood if operative would have been a help. Other than that, it was a good bargain, the owners were very responsive and the amenities were excellent.

Old farmhouse charm with today’s comfort
First time booking thru VRBO and really did not know what to expect . My husband and I along with some friends wanted to sneak away for a long weekend . I started researching homes in the area and ran across this beauty . It had everything we wanted and more. Communication with Denise was amazing. Always answered any questions , assisted with local area suggestions and always polite . The house was super clean , beds comfortable , kitchen well stocked and great grounds to walk around . Had local visitors every morning with wild turkeys and foxes to watch on the beautiful property . Already looking at dates For a return visit , would love to share the Cooperstown experience along with the beauty of the area with family . Thank you Denise and Ollie for opening your beautiful home to us.

Great location.
Overall, a positive experience. Great location and adequately clean. Just do not try to cook inside...not even with the toaster. The fire alarms are WAY TOO sensitive and will go off any time you attempt to cook. Other than that, everything was good.

Beautiful house and property!
My family stayed here for my daughter's graduation. The house was easy to find and perfect for our needs, everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the space. The property was gorgeous, we enjoyed watching the varieties of birds and we walked around easily on the gentle landscaping. The fire pit especially was a hit with my husband. Denise was wonderful and very accommodating, and replied quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again when in this area of the state.

Spacious and Charming
We appreciated the programming choices on television as well as the extra space of a home vs a hotel room. Perhaps I don’t understand the concept of “farm house”! I doubt that it would have been so difficult for the home to have been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. The bathrooms were, simply put, nasty. I cleaned urine, feces and thick dust from all three of bathrooms and that part I did not appreciate having to do at all. Perhaps you may consider removing the dust covered plastic trees from the interior, as they are rough for those dealing with allergies. There were countless ladybugs throughout the house and to me bugs are BUGS! The staircase, while beautiful, seriously needs to be cleaned as well. Also, it should’ve been mentioned that the water is well water. It is a lovely property just needed to be cleaned. The dishwasher is caked with hard water deposit so much so it appears as rock formations. Not including hotels but it is strictly my opinion that the majority of places the consumer rents from various companies such as home away etc., the leases totally protect only the owners but certainly unexpected and unappreciated “surprises” for the unprotected consumer. It just boils down to the consumer having to accept the lack of cleanliness in most places. Very disappointing.
Being located on such a busy street we did encounter a tremendous amount of road noise at night.

Adorable home, close to local attractions
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Milford Manor Farmhouse. The kids loved the playgrounds on the property and the adults loved the proximity to everything Cooperstown! Walking distance to Wilbur Park (which had another great playground) and the scenic tour train. The foliage Columbus Day weekend was simply phenomenal!! 5 stars for locality, 4 stars simply because a few (minor) things were broken in the house. The owners could not have been more accomodating, they were accessible and kind, even provided a pack n play so we didn't have to lug one for the baby which was much appreciated. We would stay here again.
