Lake, firepit, good base for White Mountain fun & foliage!

Our cabin sits on a spacious wooded lot a short walk to a beautiful lake! Soak up the beauty of the mountains on one of our kayaks or relax on the sandy beach. Back at the cabin, cook up a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or unwind in the cozy living room with family & friends. Head outside to enjoy the beauty of the woods around a campfire; wander over to the playground, basketball court, or tennis court. Or venture out for a short drive to explore all the White Mountains have to offer!

The space
Try out The Raven’s Nest: a rustic cabin with a modern twist, boasting plush linens and a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s small size ensures an intimate and cozy setting!

There are 2 bedrooms which accommodate 4 adults comfortably, and 2 additional twin beds in the loft area for children. It’s easy to be together in the open-plan living room and kitchen area. In the kitchen you’ll find baking dishes, pots/pans, an air fryer (within the oven), bar cart with ice bucket, and pantry basics. A large dining room table has seating for 6. Netflix is complimentary, or stream from your own favorite apps on the TV. There is a small washer/dryer in the cabin. We also provide a starter set of supplies (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, bathroom tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, trash bags).

In warm weather, venture outdoors through the glass sliders and grill up something delicious to enjoy on the picnic bench or deck. There is plenty of outdoor space for playing or relaxing on the hammock or around the fire pit, and at the playground and basketball court across the road. There is also a tennis court on the grounds for use.

Our cabin is one of the closest rentals to the semi-private lake area, where you can swim, dive off of the dock, swim out to one of the remote docks, or just enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the sandy beach and picnic areas. There are 2 kayaks for you to take out on the lake during the warmer months. During the height of the winter season, the lake has been known to freeze enough to snowmobile or ice skate!

A short distance down the road on the property, you will find the entrance to acres of trails for hiking or snowmobiling.

Sitting at the foot of Mt Chocorua, Tamworth is close to the Kancamagus Scenic Highway and Saco River, Mt Chocorua Scenic Area, White Lake State Park, restaurants, and family attractions. Tamworth boasts the Barnstormers Summer Theatre, in season for over 90 years! Visit local farmers markets, a local brewery, The Country Store and Bakery and a quaint downtown area.

Check out area trailheads such as Piper Trailhead, Diana’s Bath or the Flume Gorge for hiking and amazing scenic views!

For skiing, the cabin is a 20 minute drive to King Pine Ski area, for all sorts of winter fun, including snow tubing and skating! Drive another 20 minutes or so to North Conway and you will find more ski resorts, shops and restaurants.
