Oceanfront cabin in the Broughton Archipelago. Excellent wildlife viewing!
Welcome to West Pass Wild. A truly a remote ocean oasis, the cabin includes 180-degree views and is steps from the beach. Located on Swanson Island in the Broughton Archipelago, the cabin is surrounded by forest and looks out to Blackfish Sound and Blackney Pass. Only a twenty minute boat ride from Telegraph Cove. This location is known for abundant whale sightings, both Humpbacks and Orcas, during the summer months. Boat access only. Things to note: Personal transportation is required as there are limited rental options in the area.
Our caretaker lives in a neighboring cabin with her dog Peach and is available on the property to help or answer any questions.
We do not offer sleep-aboard on the dock. All guests must be accommodated on the property.
There is no smoking permitted on the property.

Heidi provided us with good directions to Swanson Island. Amanda was an excellent host providing directions on how our off grid cabin worked and showing us around the island. It was incredible to wake up to the sound of whales spouting. My husband was excited to find good fishing very near by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
