Clean and quaint
The room itself was very clean. It could definitely use some minor updates. I feel like it was nice brand new, but the whole place was just kind of aging. I paid $15 for early check in and when I arrived, my room was not ready. I waited 15 minutes then asked the cleaning woman how much longer. She seemed surprised that I was there. I let her know I paid and it approved for early check in. She hurried to finish my room. It was nice and clean, just frustrating to pay extra money and not have the room ready on time. There was no hand soap, no shower soap, and very few towels in the room. It was okay for my one night stay, but if I was there longer this would have been pretty upsetting. I mean I would have brought soap if I had known there wouldnt even be a soap bar. I wish I could give it 5 stars, because it has a lot of potential and the location is great - however, my overall stay was a 3/5.
