Absolutely loved staying here during Los Alamos Old Days. Great location and I’ve always loved this wonderful little town, but had yet to stay here. Love this town and enjoy the people who live in this area. Highly recommend.
We came to Los Alamos for a wine country wedding and enjoyed every minute. The Mercantile building and our room was beautiful. Loved the western touches. The town has a great laid back vibe. Perfect for our event.
This was a beautiful place with an easy walk to the little store and town. It was quiet, comfortable and had a very well stocked kitchen. Showers where huge and the beds were comfortable. We were four adults. There are only TV's in the bedrooms (fine by us we didn't use them).Minor complaint: The water is very soft and pressure a bit low in the showers. Took awhile to rinse off. But it's a super minor complaint and I would stay here again.
It is an immaculate, well-put-together place. We will stay again

INSTAGRAMMABLE BUT IMPRACTICAL
Beautifully decorated, as my son says "Instagram able". But, rather impractical. And worse, not very accessible to a couple 70yo. One has to be a basketball player or young athlete to be comfortable.Accessibility Rating: 2* out of 5*- no bars in showers, slippery tile floors (slip and fall liability waiting to happen)- high bed, have to hop into, step ladder helps, but twisting was not good for person with back surgery- tvs only in bedrooms, but no chairs to watch and no TV in living room where we like to congregate- no table to dine on, just high stools at the bar that are uncomfortable to use with knee surgery- shelving, clothing bars in bedroom closets high- kitchen cabinets too high .. could only reach bottom two shelves- communication was 3/5 .. messages sometimes took a day to respond. initial note was never answered.Location: 5/5 great walking access and interesting things to seeI just wish they would have replied to our preliminary message. There were just not enough pictures on the website to assess the suitability.
A spacious apartment-style accommodation moments from Bells, as well as many other eateries, tasting rooms, and antique stores. The perfect stay for our weekend trip! Michelle was very communicative and helpful!
This was a great place to spend the weekend in the charming town of Los Alamos. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, lovely beds, great kitchen, too. Check in/out was super easy, prompt reply from property manager. Great location in town, super walkable. We will definitely stay here again. 10/10

This property far exceeds any other property close by, just based on the size of it alone. While everyone else in our party was crammed in to little motel rooms, my husband and I were able to stretch out, relax, and enjoy this very spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath unit, which can accommodate up to 6 people!
The only negative was a plumbing issue that occurred in the whole building when we were there, and the shower water took a long time to drain out, but that was the only issue, which I am sure has been fixed by now.
In the unlikely chance that we will ever be in Los Alamos again, (We were there for my cousin's wedding) then we would definitely stay at the Mercantile again. It is a true gem!
