About this property

Cabin w/loft 2mi to Dillards/Buffalo Point - Lower Buffalo

About this space
**GET OUTDOORS, BUT SLEEP INDOORS!**

Buffalo Camp 1 is perfect camping cabin for getting outdoors while enjoying amenities. Take a break from a tent. Enjoy a rustic weekend close to nature. The loft to this cabin provides extra sleeping - bring your sleeping bag!

The Ridge offers 5 cabins total, sleeping up to 23. Message us for larger groups.
The space
Your private sleeping cabin includes a covered front porch (6' x 10') spanning the length of the cabin where you can relax and listen to nature at your 2 person dinette or sitting area. Your firepit, charcoal grill and picnic table are just off the steps.

INSIDE (10x16):
Queen Bed sleeps 2
Ladder access loft area sleeps 1 adult or 2 kids on 3" sleeping mats (provided) - bring your sleeping bag.
Dinette Table for dining or playing games
Kitchenette with ample counter space, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
Electricity, A/C, heat, rural wi-fi (up to 50 mbps), linens, pillows, plastics plates, bowls, cups and basic paper goods
Water is available from our bathhouse or the water spigot near the bathhouse.

Your Camp 1 Bathroom is located in our Camp Bathhouse - about 20 yards from your front porch. You and your party will have use of a full bath that includes shower, toilet, and large sink. You will not share the bathroom with anyone else while in use (no stalls, multiple toilets, etc).

Laundry facilities are available - you will have keyed entry to a laundry room with washer and dryer (no coins needed!)
Guest access
You will have access to the cabin, bathhouse and grounds. You have a private picnic table and firepit.

You will have a view of our ridge looking towards the Buffalo National River forestland (not a view of the river). You will also see the historic Lynch waterslide just outside your porch landing.
Other things to note
Some important things to take note of...
1. Your bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) is located in our renovated Bath House about 20 yards from your cabin door. This is a cool piece of Buffalo Point history - it was the old Lynch waterslide bathhouse, where locals got into their swimsuits to ride the slide. We've redone the bathrooms for our guests.

2. There is electricity and wi-fi in the cabins. Water is available at the vanity in your bathroom or at the outdoor water faucet on the property.
