Comfy getaway!

This was an awesome relaxing getaway! It was comfy and spacious! Plenty of space for the kids to roam! Just far enough away from town to enjoy the peace!

Fisherman’s Paradise and much more

This is a unique property with a lot of cool history. The home is an old dairy barn convert with original walls and window showing in some areas of the home. Ample outdoor space around the house whether you are looking to be shaded during the day or enjoying the stars at night around the fire pit. The pond is well stocked and exciting to fish out of for all skill levels. We are “country” so we even enjoyed swimming in the deeper areas of the pond further away from where we were fishing. Large shade trees give relief from the sun while outdoors. Indoors are super comfortable and provide everything necessary for a relaxing stay. Owners are promptly available when needed and farm staff are super friendly and courteous. Nice trails lined with blackberries and honey suckles. Many animals to view in the field next to the pond such as geese, duck, wild turkey, and many more!

Beautiful farm view, much needed repair and a good cleaning

Absolutely loved outdoor amenities, pond, trails, half working paddle boat and the view . But the house definitely needs some love and attention. Not very clean compared to the rest of the homes we have stayed in the country side. Spent the first night scrubbing the floors by hand because our feet were turning black (After traveling well over 5 hours)Things in the home need repair, hence why you don’t see pictures of the bathroom (Shower base leaking, shower is so small) and doors for rooms (handles are so loose you can’t properly close the doors). The pool table room was in such disrepair we enjoyed it for 15 minutes. Closet was in pieces in the room, pool table is uneven and old, the darts for the dart board was falling apart every throw. Oh and only one functional pool Que. Patio was pleasant and enjoyable after we all spent time cleaning and picking the metal, fishing hooks, broken bricks from fireplace off the ground. We came to visit family, and escape the noise of the city, but with the farm hands on and off property ALL DAY EVERY DAY, there was no piece and quiet till way past dark, we rented the ground and the house so no one should be coming on property unless we had common courtesy. Was not in the description nor was it in the rental agreement. Would return if this property has major renovations (Like the two other homes they have) it has the potential! But unfortunately will not be returning anytime soon. The description compared to reality is like them showing a beautiful classic corvette for sale and you show up to see well driven 99 Honda civic. Spent more time cleaning, and running back and fourth to the store for basic house hold items, then we did enjoying the property. Pictures definitely a 10 reality is a solid 1.75-2 stars.

Rustic Piece of Heaven

We found this lil piece of gem looking for a place to stay while attending a wedding. I'm so glad I chose this cabin for my family. We definitely enjoyed the peacefulness of being surrounded by nature. From the cozy feel in the inside to relaxing under the covered area outside we had a great stay. The cabin had everything you needed as if you were at your own home and more. We enjoyed the pool table, canoe and paddle boat and a lil fishing. We were already talking about planning another weekend we enjoyed so much...it was truly a rustic piece of Heaven.
