Set in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street, this lovely three-bedroom contemporary is a wonderful spot for your relaxing Truro vacation. Perched atop a hill looking out over the abutting, Cape Cod National Seashore wooded property, the home provides peaceful spaces--inside and out.
An upside-down design, the main living area of the home is on the second level and the bedrooms are on the first. Enter an open and bright main living area with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, tall windows and two sliders to the 40' wrap-around deck. This space includes a cozy living room with comfortable seating and flat screen TV with cable, a dining area with large table and room for everyone, and a nicely-equipped kitchen with island and counter seating. Enjoy panoramic wooded views from the entire main living area. There are electrically operated skylights, two ceiling fans and a ductless split unit air conditioner to cool this open and airy space. There is also a half bath on this floor.
Access the house via exterior steps to a front foyer (steps lead up to main living area or down to bedrooms) or a door from the driveway.
All of the home's three bedrooms are on the first level. Bedroom one has a queen bed, a flat screen TV with cable, a ductless split unit air conditioner, ceiling fan and an en suite bathroom with tub/shower. Bedroom two has a queen bed, a flat screen TV with cable, a ductless split unit air conditioner and ceiling fan. Bedroom three has two twin beds, a flat screen TV with cable, a ductless split unit air conditioner and ceiling fan. There is a second bathroom off the hall with tub/shower. A door at the end of the hall leads outside to the yard.
You may not want to leave the large, deck with gas grill, dining table and lounge chairs. Dine out, or enjoy a good book, your morning coffee or evening cocktails among the trees. Wonderful spot for birding or stargazing and glimpses of the beacon from Highland (Cape Cod) Light in the evening.
In addition to A/C, ceiling fans, WiFi, cable and gas grill, there is an oversized, enclosed outdoor shower and a washer/dryer on the landing between the two floors.
Short drive to all the best of Truro including ocean beaches (Long Nook, Coast Guard and Ballston) and Corn Hill Beach on the Bay, restaurants, shops and galleries.

The property abuts the Cape Cod National Seashore property, a wonderful protected federal park which comprises most of Truro and beyond in all directions. Over 4,300 acres, it has miles and miles of hiking trails, fire roads and spectacular sand dunes with elevations to 90 feet overlooking pristine beaches, some accessible only via trail.
Walk down the back of the property and follow Higgins Hollow Road to the fire road which opens up miles and miles of breathtaking Cape forest and sand dune ocean side trails (see photos). Short bike or hike to Long Nook Beach (1.5 m) or obtain a weekly town beach permit and drive the short distance to each beach. Grab a beach fire permit from the Truro Fire Department and enjoy a romantic evening beach fire (beach firewood available behind the house).

**** CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY ****
Upon cancellation for ANY reason, money will be refunded less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due, ONLY if the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover Compass undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover Compass and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover Compass.
