Live like a local in the charming West Side of Colorado Springs. Nestled in a quiet residential area, this five-bedroom, two-bathroom home features a large dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a large fenced-in yard, and a beautiful front porch with a swing to take in the mountain views!

There are three bedrooms on the main level of the house: one king, two queens, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The lower level has two queen bedrooms.

The bathrooms, located on the main level of the house, have full bathtubs with showers.

The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals. However, if you feel like dining out or ordering in, there are plenty of options close by. Just two blocks from the house, you'll find Colorado Avenue and an abundance of restaurants.

The living room on the main level has a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress. Downstairs features a large 50' television with a Blu-ray player and movies to enjoy a movie night when you are all tuckered out from sightseeing.

With over 100 channels, movies, board games, and books to choose from for entertainment, you can relax after a full day of taking in all of the tourist attractions.

The covered front porch and porch swing beckon you to enjoy the fresh mountain air while enjoying the views. The backyard, completely fenced in, has a large table, umbrella, a gas fire pit, and seating for an additional eight people.

You can borrow guidebooks while staying at the house, but please leave them for the next guests to use. Equipment, including a high chair, pack-and-play, and booster seat, are available for families with younger children. The house has central air and heating for comfort during all seasons.

Great location!

This home is surprisingly spacious! There are plenty of large bedrooms and common living spaces. The home is well equipped with appliances, cooking utensils, games and books. The yard is spacious and offers a comfortable place to enjoy the weather and sit by a fire. One evening we walked to Old Colorado Springs where there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops. It’s only a couple of blocks away and a perfect walk from the house. The house is just down the street from Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. We loved our stay and would enjoy coming back

Family vacation

This home is perfect for a family vacation. We had six adults and 3 kids and were all very comfortable. Very well stocked kitchens, lots games that were fun, nice backyard and perfect location. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Convenient to Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs

We were in town for a nephew's wedding in Manitou Springs (with our four adult children and their partners). The location was very convenient to each of the wedding venues in Manitou (as well as the Incline, which five of us did). Its walking distance to some nice shops and restaurants in Old Colorado City. The home was as described and shown on the web site. Beds were comfy, and there was ample room for all of us to be together at the same time, or to spread out into the separate main floor and basement living spaces. Check-in was easy with the digital lock. Would definitely stay again!

This was a wonderful property and the perfect location! An easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Tons of local attractions within a 10 min drive. Property manager was VERY prompt to reply on all of questions. Fantastic property for groups. we easily slept 11. I would highly suggest!

Amazing House in a Great Location!!

This house fit our family perfectly! Was with in15 minutes of everything we wanted to do and within walking distance of Old Colorado City town center. Will be looking to stay here again on our next trip to The Springs.

Everything provided

First off, host is very responsive and kind. I contacted her twice during our stay and both times she helped me promptly and in a very friendly way. The house fit our large group comfortably, and it seemed like anything we needed was already there in an easy to spot location. We never had to root around searching for stuff—for example, a notepad and pen were set out, which was great when we had to call our rental car agency with an issue. Kitchen was fully stocked. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. If you come from a place with big green lawns like I do, it might look a bit overgrown initially, but I quickly realized that the locals prefer to feed the pollinators rather than keep lawns mowed and treated. 😊 don’t let it deter you if you look around on Google earth. It’s a very sweet neighborhood. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to see and a short walk to Old Colorado City, where they have nice shops and a pretty green space where a concert was happening each night. Old Colorado City is nicer than Manitou Springs, so don’t waste your time driving over to the latter. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Property was very clean, easy to get to and easy access. Location is very good as well. Most things were 30 minutes or less to get to. If you have a large group, it would be a great accommodation. 5 bedrooms and a decent sized outdoor area. It is fenced so great for a dog to roam as well. We would definitely recommend!

Great house in nice town

If I could give 6 stars, I would. This house is great. Our family was in town for our daughter’s college graduation. We took advantage of the fantastic outdoor space and front porch. Plenty of space for 4 couples, a toddler, and our dog. The neighborhood is charming and a short walking distance to fun restaurants and shops.

Great house and location!

I went on a trip to Colorado Springs with 5 friends for a weekend getaway. The house was perfect for us as 4 of us each had our own room and 2 shared a king bed. We loved the big table in the dining room we could all fit at and the outdoor patio where we could have wine and sit by the fire. The house was stocked full of everything you could need while staying there.

Wedding weekend!

We had booked this as a place for our wedding party to stay, and then my new husband joined us after the wedding. We spent the weekend catching up around the fire, playing our Switches, making breakfast together, and getting ready for our wedding! It was perfect for us. Catherine was so, so kind and a great communicater. It was a great side of town as well and perfect for showing our friends the area we grew up in. Stay here when you get the chance! We live on the complete other side of town, but if we ever need to get away and be near the Westside again, we are coming back here! Thank you again Catherine!

Great location family and pet friendly

We picked this house because of the number of people it slept, it is pet friendly and the location is perfect for the attractions we wanted to see. Nice side yard with privacy fence, BBQ's, propane fire pit and plenty of seating. We sat outside at night enjoying the fire pit and sharing many laughs. Kitchen is well stocked with all necessary items needed. Host was quick to respond to any questions I had. We enjoyed are stay at the Bijou House and would stay there again if in the area.

Short stay for wedding

The process from start to finish was so easy. The property is adorable. The pictures that you see doesn’t do it justice. We were visited by a doe and her fawn every day. We plan on visiting every year and hope to be able to rent this property.

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I have lived in many states and even a few years in Germany. I spent a few years of my childhood in Colorado Springs, and many family members have now made this area their home. My husband, from Munich, Germany, and I and our three kids and dogs love to travel as often as possible. I enjoy spending time in Colorado Springs, visiting with family, enjoying the milder climate (we live in Texas!), and taking in the laid-back culture in this area.

Why they chose this property

This house is the perfect setup for larger families to enjoy time together while offering personal space needed when traveling. The outside space offers ample seating and a porch swing to enjoy the fresh mountain air. We enjoy some of the original features but also appreciate the many upgrades done to the house. And the location... it's just perfect for vacation!

Split level with lots of space for large groups. Nice covered porch and fruit trees, including crab apple and apricot. Large dining room table to host a family or group traveling together. The quiet residential neighborhood offers the chance to live like a local.
