Nice location on the water, property needs TLC
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were a family group of 3 adult couples, in town for a wedding, not a beach vacay.
This is a nice house with nice furniture. Kitchen is very well supplied.View of ocean and sound of the surf is wonderful. The house sits at the edge of the high tide line,so be aware that beach is only accessible during low-tide.
This house needs a lot of TLC to meet its potential and justify its rental fee.The sliding doors are hard to open, some handles are loose and barely attached, some door frames are screwed together with metal plates, a bedroom door handle is missing its back mounting, carpets are worn and stained. Refrigerator is banged up, the upper dishwasher rack is wonky. Access to the rooftop patio area is via a steep, pull-down attic ladder. Very difficult and risky. Much of the furniture up there is broken and unusable.
We were disappointed that the ocean-facing window glass was not cleaned before our arrival. They were heavily streaked and fogged, marring the view. There is no hot tub as stated in listing.
The listing is a bit confusing in terms of bedrooms. The primary bedroom is a real bedroom with ensuite bath, jetted tub, sauna, and walk-in closet. The second bedroom is also an en suite with a closet. It has a
2 Queen beds, so it is not private if 2 couples were to share it. There is an office space with a door on the first level that has a Queen bed squeezed into it,but there is no closet. there is a 1/2 bath outside of it.
