Quick short trip and the cabin provided a nice clean place to rest, get refreshed with hot showers for four adults and a goodnight sleep. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Nice clean cabin. Hard to get to
The cabin was very clean and comfortable on the inside. It is a little rough on the outside. I feel like the listing should give more detail about how windy and steep the mountain is to get up to the cabin not just say the drive way is steep. We are from the coast where there are no mountains. And it was scary getting up the mountain to the cabin.
The owners were great to work with, but there was something wrong with the water heater & we checked out early & went to a hotel. The enterence is difficult for elderly people. The cabin is cute
Went for a family vacation with our two and five year old kids. Nice to have two bedrooms (comfortable beds) and bathrooms and the couch had plenty of space for everyone. Fun, windy road up to the cabin. Nice view from the cabin. A few wood bees hanging around, but we had no issues from them. The kitchen is small but stocked with appropriate stuff to make a decent meal when you don't want to go out. Internet was great because cell signal was almost non-existent there. I'd stay there agian.

Needs TLC
The walkway is treacherous. It needs a handrail. There was no overhead light in the one bedroom. It could really use a microwave. We had hot water Thursday when we arrived & Friday morning. The rest of the day Friday and all day Saturday,we had no hot water. It seemed to be getting hot Sunday morning. My husband thinks the water heater isn't working properly. It's definitely not an ideal place for small children. There's a lot of things on the porch and surrounding yard that makes the place look run down.

Sevierville house in the hills
Overall the house was adequate for our needs.
It would be a pleasant house to stay in for a young family.
The kitchen could use a microwave, toaster and light above the stove.
There was no hot water in the bedroom bathroom.
The back deck flooring is not sturdy.
It is worn from the weather and not safe for adults to be on.
There are more than 5 pavers leading up to the porch, not 3 as shown in the photos.
The pavers not shown are loose and unsafe, at best.
They are very unsafe to use.
There is a narrow place between the garage and the pavers, approximately 24" wide that cannot be navigated with walker.
There were many tall weeds in parking areas and old, unusable items in the back yard.
We didnt even get to the cabin! We drove a long dodge pickup with a 24 ft enclosed trailer, the vrbo site did not explain how narrow and curvy the road up to the cabin was, we could not make the turn to get to the cabin from the road, so, we went on to a dead end road.. No where to turn around.
So, we backed the truck up on the narrow road, way up on the mountain, for a long ways, i called Julie, the owner, she would not cancel for us nor give out money back. We could'nt of got our vehicle in the drive either. They need to explain how it is up there so people can plan accordingly. She suggested we leave our traier down in a parking lot
for someone to steal i guess. I have now words for this cabin, we had to pay, but couldnt get to it. We ended up in a holiday inn down in knoxville that we had to apy again! trailer
