Peaceful getaway

Gorgeous property! A little closer to the road that I would’ve thought, but not much traffic on it. The beds were large and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the bunkbed game room. My sister rented one of the smaller houses as well. We plan on staying here again!

Amazing

Even better than the pictures. A lot of space, very comfortable beds, blankets and pillows. Would 100% recommend if you’re staying in the blowing rock or Boone area. It’s a very easy quick drive to both.

Beautiful Winter Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious but cozy at the same and very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The property is beautiful and the location was perfect for our visit to Appalachian State for a concert. We are already making plans to return.

Annual ski trip

We had 3 moms and all of our sons stay for a ski trip. We loved having a place to stay where our kids could hang out together. The cabin was great! Lots of room inside and a fun property to explore outside. It was also covered in snow and so pretty!

post Christmas family getaway and get together

We have stayed in many houses in the NC mountains, but never one with a location as good as this. We saved a lot of driving time because parks, shopping and attractions were so close. The furniture and beds were really comfortable. The house and grounds were private. There were ample sheets, towels, pans, pots, etc.

Thanksgiving weekend stay

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage with family! The bunk room was a huge hit and the whole family ended up in there every night enjoying the cozy setup and games. The other bedrooms were very comfortable and everything was very clean. It was too cold for us to enjoy the outside but the location was by far the best of all the cabins we have tried in the area since it was 5-10 min to all the activities we had planned. Highly recommend this place!

Farmhouse Getaway

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful! The beds were all super comfy! The grounds were great and our kids enjoyed coming home one evening to several deer by the pond. The house was a great location to many local attractions and also offered a quiet respite. Thank you for such a great getaway!

Great family space

We really enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse. The space was very roomy and there were many places to sit and relax. Nice bedrooms and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again if returning to the Boone/Blowing Rock area. Easy access to both towns as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly recommend.

Great place and beautiful locale.

This was a pleasant place to stay. Th pond in the back was a beautiful backdrop. We had an issue with an air conditioner that was promptly fixed. Overall, a nice place to stay! The house had a lot of charm and I would recommend it.

Wonderful, charming house!

Eight of us came for a weekend to celebrate my 14 year old's birthday. My husband and me, my (senior) mom, 4 teenagers, and one 11 year old. We all loved the house! The teenagers especially loved the bunk room, games, hot tub and exploring the grounds. The adults loved sitting on the front porch or by the fire in the living room. The couches were comfortable and there was plenty of seating and space to spread out inside. The beds were comfortable - we all agreed we slept well. We appreciated all of the king beds! We arrived later than we hoped, so it was already dark and I was nervous we'd have a hard time finding the house. Happily, we didn't. There was not a steep hill to navigate and the house was lit up with string lights so we found it pretty easily. It was chilly when we arrived, but we turned the heat on and the whole place warmed up quickly. It was clean and welcoming! We ate most of our meals out (We especially liked The Local in Boone), but we did cook one dinner and one breakfast at the house. There were pots and pans and bakeware, and enough plates/cups/cutlery for all of us. We did wish there were a couple of platters and an additional mixing/serving bowl or two, but we made it work! Only having 2 bathrooms was our biggest challenge (4 teenagers!), but we knew this going in and we managed the shower schedules and didn't run out of hot water. We had a wonderful weekend here and I'd rent this place again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house!
