Located on the white sands of Playa Langosta, just a short 10 minute walk to the center of Tamarindo, Crystal Sands was designed to match the beauty of its natural surroundings. Beautiful Condo!

We spent a week at this beautiful condo! Everything was as described, if not better! The space and the views were spectacular! The condo was more than well equipped for our needs. Also very clean! The location is excellent with restaurants and shops within walking distance.We would walk into Tamarindo, and take taxi back if we had goods to carry. We did rent a golf cart for some of our stay which was very handy. Overall, we would highly recommend this property. Our host, Annette was so helpful and very responsive. A memorable vacation at this beautiful location.

Crystal Sands

Had a fantastic stay at Crystal Sands! Very clean and spacious. Home is fully stocked with lots of kitchen ware and many extra beach towels/bath towels and extra bedding/pillows/comforters. Extra supplies stocked for kitchen and laundry. Rented a golf cart for the week and that was perfect for getting around Langosta and Tamarindo. RPM management company promptly helped us with anything we needed. They also arranged driver to and from airport for us. Very helpful. We hope to be back!

Beautiful Condo on the Beach

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at this property. It is located right on the beach and the morning views and sunsets from the porch are truly spectacular. The unit itself is clean and modern, very solid. It is a little walk into town - maybe a half mile to the busy area - but it felt very safe. You can also walk down the beach to get into town. It’s a nice beach walk, but a little rocky. The beach right outside the building is pretty rocky too. The sandy part of the beach is maybe a 5-10 minute walk away. It’s a quiet part of Tamarindo, so I guess it depends what you are looking for - if you are looking for a party place with easy access to all the bars and restaurants, this probably isn’t for you. If you are ok going back and forth into town (we rented a car, but a lot of people had golf carts) then this is a great spot. Pool was nice. We used it a couple times. Gated building with parking. Guards were super nice. All in all it was a great property and Tamarindo is a beautiful, fun town.

Awesome place!

Would definitely stay here again. Great location and we love playa longosta! Property was very clean and the views are outstanding. Full time gated security as well which we didn’t expect. We hope to stay here again next year!

Can’t Be Beat

A fantastic view of the ocean. Everything you can think of in this very spacious condo. Immaculate. Pool and sandy beaches within steps. Be prepared during droughts that you must buy drinking water. Clarify initial steps to enter unit. Owner very timely in answering questions and assisting us when we needed help.

Amazing stay

This condo is gorgeous, clean and has everything! We had a fantastic time. There were a ton of towels and beach toys to use. The property managment and guards were lovely and helpful. Pool was great and kids loved to swim. It's in the shade in the afternoon which is nice. Condo is huge and comfortable and the balcony sunset view can't be beat. The kids loved snorkeling in the tide pools. There is a sandy place to swim in mid/high tide right near the condo with lots of trees for shade. There is also another much less rocky beach about a 10 minute walk to the left of the condo. Condo is an easy walk into Tamardino, but there is also a small grocery store and some restaurants just up the street.

Family Vacation

Beautiful. Only about a mile walk to major restaurant area. Plenty of bathrooms (5 teenagers, 2 adults). Very Safe and Comfortable. We could all sit in living room together and watch a movie. Huge deck overlooking beautiful ocean/sunset.

Luxurious Condo with Breathtaking Views

We had an excellent stay at Crystal Sands. The condo was immaculate and well appointed and the layout was spacious and very comfortable. As much as we enjoyed the interior of the unit, nothing could beat the views from the beautiful balcony! We saw a spectacular sunset on our first night. Our hosts provided excellent information about the condo and the area prior to our arrival and we took advantage of arranging some transportation through RPM. Communication was easy and efficient. In hindsight, we wished that we had rented a car for some older members of our group, but we managed well enough and did elect to rent a golf cart one day. Our group cannot say enough good things about this rental. We would happily return if the opportunity arose! Pura vida!

View is even better than in the pictures!!

The stay was great! The condo was spotless and well-appointed. The views of sunsets and lightning from the back deck were amazing; the photos don’t do it justice. The owner and the property manager were super responsive with a couple small issues. We had a fabulous stay. Would consider adding luggage racks for suitcases and a couple flashlights (we lost power for a few hours one night). Would absolutely rent again!

Beautiful, spacious condo over looking the ocean!

We stayed at Crystal sands for 6 nights. The property is beautiful and the condo is fully stocked with everything you need. The property managers were very helpful getting us set up with tours and information about the area. The property is about a 20 min walk to Tamarindo so I recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Beautiful Condo

The condo was beautiful, exactly as pictured with an amazing view of the beach and sunset. The location is great for enjoying Playa Langosta and Tamarindo. We rented a golf cart and which made it even easier to explore the area. The security guards were so nice at the condo and very helpful. The condo pool was always empty and a great place to enjoy the afternoon. RPM was very helpful with booking excursions and transportation as well as very quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this condo as well as look forward to returning!!

Wonderful condo

My family (me and my husband, son & daughter-in-law and two teenage grandsons) found the condo and location perfect for our visit to Tamaindo/PlayaLagosta. The condo was beautifully laid out and appointed. The outdoor balcony had a table and chairs for all of us to spend time there together. Thank you so much. Fabulous condo

Best Place we have stayed at in Costa Rica

This was our 7th trip to Costa Rica and we have stayed at many condos in Tamarindo and Playa Langosta, including the Diria in Tamarindo, and this was the best condo we have stayed at by far. The private balcony with the views and sounds of the ocean and birds, is incredible! Every morning we couldn't wait to get outside on the balcony with breakfast to just relax and take it all in. Every evening we would have a drink and watch the sun go down, just amazing! The unit is very spacious and clean and has EVERYTHING you need for a comfortable stay. The building and elevator are immaculate and very well maintained, private and quiet. The parking and storage for our surf boards was so easy and convenient. We loved staying here as it is so close to all the great restaurants and shops nearby, but it is so quiet and relaxing compared to the craziness of downtown Tamarindo. We hope to return again in the near future! Thank you Annette and Tom for letting us stay in your beautiful home! You were a pleasure to deal with as well as your property manager, and the process was so easy.

Spacious and fully equipped

The property was almost too big for our family of 4. It was clean and well equipped with everything you need. Amazing view of the ocean. Loved watching the sun set each evening. Good restaurants are walking distance away.

We live in Alberta, Canada and the North American winter months can be pretty cold and long. The weather in Costa Rica during those months is dependable; sunny and temperatures ranging from +24C - +34C. We treasure the time we can get away to kick back and relax - no better way than to head to Costa Rica.

Why they chose this property

We traveled to Costa Rica in 2010 and fell in love with the country and the people. The natural beauty of the country can take your breath away. We love the quiet beauty of Tamarindo, the easy beach walks into town and sitting on the balcony overlooking the Pacific. It is the ultimate in relaxation. Sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sun set over the Pacific with a glass of wine in hand is to be savored.

What makes this property unique

The condo is on the beach and if you like to walk there are miles of unspoiled beaches to meander along, watch the surfers, try it your self or gather sea shells. Great restaurants at reasonable prices are close by.
