NOT SO QUIET COZY CABIN

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THIS WAS A GREAT LITTLE APARTMENT WITH ONE EXCEPTION. THE FLOOR ABOVE WASN'T DESIGNED WITH ENOUGH SOUND INSULATION. THE TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS THAT STAYED ABOVE OUR APARTMENT WOULD BE QUITE NOISY AND SEEMED OBLIVIOUS TO THE FACT THERE WERE OTHERS STAYING IN THE GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT. IT GOT VERY NOISY AROUND 4:30AM WHEN THEY WERE LEAVING FOR THE DAY. A VERY INCONVENIENT TIME TO BE AWAKENED (EAR PLUGS WERE PROVIDED IN THE NIGHT STAND DRAWER). OTHER THAN THAT, WE LOVED THE FURNISHINGS AND THE VERY WELL EQUIPPED KITCHEN, WELL-APPOINTED FURNISHINGS, AND TASTEFUL DECOR. THE VIEWS WERE INCREDIBLE AND THE GARDENS AROUND THE HOUSE WERE REALLY BEAUTIFUL, WELL CARED FOR AND THESE POINTS MADE OUR STAY WORTHWHILE AND ENJOYABLE. FYI, WE RENTED AN ELECTRIC CAR AND THERE WAS NO PLACE TO PLUG IN AT THE HOUSE AND THERE WERE NO PUBLIC RECHARGE STATIONS IN SITKA. LUCKILY, THE OWNER OF THE TURO CAR WAS KIND ENOUGH TO COME GET IT AND CHARGE IT FOR US.

Perfect space

The space was perfect for my boys and I who were traveling with the family that stayed upstairs in the main house. Having a separate area to get away when needed but access to the whole house because we were all together was perfect. The apartment was clean and cutely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the views were awesome. The only thing we did not quite care for were the towels.

What a great kitchen

Stocked kitchen with all the appliances you would need, great pots and pans, and all cooking essentials. Very clean, nicely decorated, and what a view. We loved our stay!
