My wife and I have stayed at at least 5-10 vrbo rentals and this is clearly one of the best we have rented. It is comfortable, conveniently located, on a quiet street, very tastefully decorated, and reasonably priced. The kitchen was especially well stocked with spices, condiments, baggies, etc.
We especially appreciated that Dona was so responsive to our call about the garage door opener, which died as we tried it for our first time. We arrived late in the afternoon on Friday before Memorial Day and called her as soon as we discovered the problem. Although she presumably had other plans for the holiday weekend, she was there first thing the next morning to install a new unit by herself. When she found that she couldn't do it on her own, she arranged for a repair guy to come at 1 pm and so the problem was fixed within 24 hours. She was very apologetic and gave us a gift card at the Oak Creek Brewery to compensate for the inconvenience, which was not necessary but very nice. We enjoyed that restaurant as well as Shugrue's, both of which have nice outdoor dining areas. The one at Shugrue's is larger and has great views of the rock walls, especially at sunset. A tip about seeing sunset views (including at the airport mesa): get there at least an hour before sunset. If you get there too soon before sunset, the light isn't bright and you will miss the best views.
