The cottage is on the ITS snowmobile/ATV trail – sled/ATV directly from the back yard. Just 5.5 miles from the Rangeley Lakes Trail Center and 7.5 miles from Saddleback Mountain!

Two bedrooms, one bathroom with walk-in shower. The open concept kitchen/living area creates an inviting atmosphere that will make you feel right at home! Sleeps 6 comfortably with one queen bed bedroom, one full bed bedroom and another queen bed in the lower-level common room. Very well appointed with modern furniture, beds, linens, kitchen equipment and more. There is a one car attached garage for your toys, your skis/snowboards, canoes, kayaks or whatever you need to store. NEW: 1 Gigabyte per second fiber optic internet wifi for guests looking to work remotely.

Rangeley Review

Overall, the property was great! It was very clean and close to saddleback mountain and perfect for our group! The only issue we had was parking. The parking behind the cottage was not well cleared and some of the group members had to have their cars towed out of the driveway.

Great time at Saddleback!

Listing was exactly as described. House was well stocked and Jim was extremely responsive and a great host. We dealt with a lot of snow and the driveways were always cleared quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house with direct snowmobile trail access

Great house with everything we needed, Excellent location, close to town, restaurants and shopping. Access directly to the snowmobile trails can't be beat.

Perfect house and location!

Check in was perfect timing from getting off the mountain from skiing. Very convenient location from the mountain and town for dinner out. The house was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen plus more. Highly recommend staying here!!

Convenient and clean

We needed a comfy jumping off point for local hikes, golf, water sports. This house did the trick: comfortably furnished and very clean. It sits on the main road through town, so quite busy in front of the house. We basically slept and ate there but would not be a first choice for rustic contemplation.

Great place!

This is a great place to stay in Rangeley. It is walking distance to the town with lots of good restaurants and shops. The house is spotless and just as pictured. Jim has thought of everything and is a terrific communicator. Would highly recommend!

Wedding in Rangeley

The property was perfect for my family of four. We had a wedding to attend at the Loon Lodge Inn, which was a short distance away. We were able to walk downtown for a coffee in the morning, visit the lake, and explore the shops. We also walked downtown to dinner one of the nights. The house was very neat and clean and stocked well with necessities. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was very nice, spacious. I feel it was a bit pricy for 1 night and also being charged a cleaning fee yet asked to take out trash and do dishes before checkout. Other than that our experience was very comfortable.

Nice stay clean and convenient to Saddleback

Great base camp close to the mountain, grocery store, and restaurants. The house was very clean and newly renovated. The heat is cozy and furniture comfortable. A second bathroom would have been nice.

Excellent Stay

Based on the pictures, I could tell the house was nice, but our stay exceeded all expectations. The house was impeccably clean and well appointed, offering comfortable beds and relaxing furniture throughout. The newly renovated basement provides a great spot to relax with a bar, reclining couches, and a nice TV with several apps. The kitchen was a great, stocked with plentiful utensils and outfitted with new appliances that made cooking a breeze. The overall ambiance suggested recent upgrades, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. Location-wise, it couldn't have been better. It’s across the street from the Saddleback Inn, close to all the Rangeley stores and restaurants and a mere 25-minute drive to Saddleback Mountain. Plus, having snowmobile trails right in the backyard was a nice bonus. All in all, our experience was fantastic, and we're already looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Rangeley. Highly recommended!
