Beautiful home!!

Wow! The pictures don’t do this beautiful home justice! Very roomy and well decorated. Beautiful furniture with a top notch kitchen and a gorgeous BIG island! Lots to do inside this home with a pool table, ping pong table, hot tub and theater room. Every single window(and there are many huge windows) had a spectacular view. Every morning we were visited by a family of deer strolling through the wildflowers in the backyard. The location was perfect for us to find many many hikes and also visit the quant little town of woodland Park. What an awesome experience our family had in this home!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My wife & I stayed at Mountain Respite with several friends this past weekend, and we can't recommend this home enough! We loved the views from the kitchen/dining area and the spacious deck. The home is nice and comfortably removed from any sources of noise or light, so we got to enjoy some truly relaxing evenings stargazing from the hot tub. The home is well-situated too: Woodland Park is a short 5-minute drive away for food and groceries, and excellent hiking trails and lakes are all within 30 minutes. The home itself was thoroughly cleaned and well-decorated, and had plenty of towels and kitchen utensils/pans/plates for us to make several dinners for 10 people. Bedrooms were very clean with plenty of linens and blankets. The ping pong table, pool table, and games and puzzles were a nice bonus and added hours of entertainment for our group. Overall, a great home for a weekend getaway that's a perfect mix of solitude and convenience! We'll be back for sure.

Beautiful place and location but had a few issues.

The house is so beautiful and very clean! The location is great and we loved the view of Pikes Peak. We saw a black bear walking by from the living room window one morning. So cool! Our family enjoyed the ping pong table, hot tub, movie room, and the games! On our 3rd night there, we did have an issue with no water. We had just returned from a rafting trip and we were unable to take showers or do laundry for a few hours until the issue was resolved. We were told that the homeowner had turned it off by mistake and did not realize that the house was occupied. The next morning, we were without water again at 7am and had to check out at 10am. We reached out to report the issue again and the water finally came back on. Very frustrating! The upstairs was also very warm/hot for much of our stay so we opened the windows. It was, however, unseasonably warm out. This issue was reported and unresolved. We never did hear back.

Beautiful Home/Views but Gross.

First let me say the home is spacious and beautiful and the views were perfect. We had a great time utilizing the theater room, pingpong table, and pool table. The kitchen and table seating was large and perfect for our group. Unfortunately those things were almost totally overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness. When we arrived, the bedspreads, and sheets on all the beds were covered in dog hair. It was obvious that the beds had been made, but with dirty sheets. The refrigerator was littered with crumbs and more dog/ human hair. The floors/ stairs had lots of dog hair, dead flies, dust and crumbs. It was obvious the floors hadn't been swept and certainly not mopped. One of the bathrooms upstairs had red-ish brown stains in a few places. Even though this house doesn't allow pets, it was obvious a dog had been there. It felt like there was hair, dust and dead flies everywhere you looked. Vacasa sent someone to clean, but not until 24 hours later. The theater room was awesome! Thankfully we had someone in our group that is really great with technology. If he wouldn't had been there we wouldn't have been able to utilize it. The technology is very complicated and you definitly need an expert with you. There were no instructions about how to use it. Additionally, if the path from where we parked the cars to the front doors isn't going to be plowed/cleared then ice melt should be provided. We were told that ice melt isn't provided. So we had to purchase the ice melt so we could get to the doors safely. There were very few kitchen items provided. The basics needed to cook a basic meal were limited. The second night we were there, we randomly lost power in one of the bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs. We never really understood why it went out. Nothing additionally had been plugged in. In fact, my daughter realized the power had gone out when she went to turn on the ceiling fan. I reached out to Vacasa and they finally realized the breaker box was locked up and we didn't have access. No one was able to come out until mid afternoon the following day. Our experience wasn't good. The house is so beautiful it was super sad the condition it was left in. We would not stay in this house again. I don't think we've decided if we would ever stay in a Vacasa managed home again.
