Becky's Bee Hive, Clean, Cozy, Affordable and Family Friendly!

The Bee Hive is a centrally located, family friendly, newly remodeled 1930's home that is conveniently located in a residential neighborhood on a corner lot with walking access to local businesses.
Additional parking available on the side of the garage for multiple trailers for your snowmobile or UTV/ATV's or multiple vehicles. The house is only a couple blocks from trails for biking, walking, ATVs and snowmobiling, within 2 to 15 minutes from ski trails and ski hills, and only 20 minutes from Lake Superior beaches and waterfalls.

Enter the home through the breezeway that provides seating and enough room to store all your outdoor gear. Even use it to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning. You will feel at peace inside with a clean, tidy atmosphere without clutter. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook during your stay and coffee and creamer is provided. The kitchen opens up to the living/dining area with an open concept feel. There are 2 bedrooms with black out curtains for the late sleeper. Relax in the living room and watch a movie on the Roku TV. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed perfect for the kids or adults. There are 2 seating options for dining which seat 6. The bathroom is stocked with towels, a hair dryer, and plenty of soap for your showering/bath needs. In the basement you will have access to a washer and dryer as well as laundry soap during your stay. Also included in the house is a pack-n-play, baby gate, changing pad/station, High chair, toys and books for kids as well as games. Local menu's and area tourist information is provided along with recommendations.
The outside of the property provides concord grape vines, mackintosh apples, black berries and raspberries for your enjoyment in season. You will love this home and feel at peace while you enjoy your stay.

Becky's Bee Hive was amazing! So cute and cozy! I highly recommend! We got in late, but check in was easy. The home is centrally located which was perfect. I finally was able to visit the Stormy Koomer store, outlet and factory will be the next visit.

Bee Hive Vacation in UP

It was fantastic! The little house was perfect for us; the decor was delightful. Really appreciated how clean everything was. Becky gives her guests so many extras -- treats, laundry facilities on site, personal grooming items. We will definitely stay there again!

Becky did a lot of little extras. The property was just as described and then some. We could rest well after each day of exploring the area. Lots of brochures and tips for restaurants and local interesting sights to see. see.

Sweet Vrbo!

Becky’s Bee Hive was exactly as advertised - just as cute, cozy, and clean as depicted. Becky added numerous extras like tea, coffee, oatmeal, honey, and condiments that were so welcome. The location was great for our day trips to Little Girl Point and Black River Harbor. Proximity to Walgreens and a grocery store was convenient. Excellent restaurants and coffee shops in the area. You will be happy you chose to stay at Becky’s Bee Hive!

Charming older home.

We were in Ironwood for a family reunion and needed a place to stay for a few days. Becky’s Bee Hive was perfect for us. The house was neat, clean and well equipped. We were comfortable and the weather was nice enough for us to sit outside on the patio and enjoy it. We had a well equipped kitchen and a laundry room. It is a very nice place to relax.

The Beehive is the best

I came up here for a solo writer's retreat and could not be happier about the accommodations. Becky puts a lot of love and care into this cottage house. A Marine sergeant would shake Becky's hand for the cleanliness, and so much attention is put into the bee theme. I enjoyed reading on the outdoor patio furniture around sunset. Everything is well made and well organized. She deserves all the buzz. :)

Centrally located, cozy property.

We loved staying at the Beehive. It's centrally located, has off street parking and all the things you need for a cozy away from home experience. Becky is fantastic! She communicated in such a timely manner and when she saw we were bringing little kids she told us all the things she already had for them to use- which saved us on packing. Everything was clean and tidy, not to mention cozy. Soft blankets, pillows and bedding felt so great after a long day of hiking. We've stayed in many rentals and this one is a favorite. We will always recommend this one to friends going up to the UP.

Ski vacation

This was so much more than we expected. It was a great place for our group. Becky was very good about making sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything. Clean and spacious and lots of little details that made our stay amazing. We will definitely be back! Had fun finding all the bee items! Would definitely recommend to others.

I am a wife, mother of 2 and I am living my best life as a stay at home mom. Formerly, I worked in healthcare for over 17 years. After quitting my job and leaving my career, i started my own cleaning business. After a couple years of cleaning other peoples rentals and homes, I decided to buy a home of my own to have as a rental that I could host and clean myself. Aside from hosting, I also do my husbands bookkeeping for his business. We have lived in the U.P. our entire lives and would never trade living in this area for city life!

Why they chose this property

I choose this neighborhood because it was in a great area just off the highway and easy to find. Also it is a couple blocks from the trails for walking, biking and ATV/snowmobiling. It is close to area businesses such as restaurants, gas stations and stores for your convivence to pick up supplies.

What makes this property unique

The property exterior yard is on a corner lot with Macintosh apple trees, grape vines and raspberry and black berry bushes that wouldn't be possible for bloom without the pollination of the bees! The Bee Hive interior is simple and clean with honeycomb and bee theme touches throughout. The space was inspired for busy bodies to slow down and find peace and rest from their every day work life.
