Comfy Cosy Spacious Suite

We only got to enjoy one night but the place was perfect. So spacious and felt that someone had made a lot of effort to creat personal touches. We left a book for the library! The outside deck was beautiful and the bonus brand new washer driver was so appreciated.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay! Cute, rather large place 10 minutes from Wolfville. Large upper deck over looking trees and the river. Very clean, very quiet. Had every amenity we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. I would highly recommend this place!!

Best feature for us was the laundry as we were half way into a 2 week trip. Large well lit rooms with back upper deck. Over a ciders but it closes at 7 so no noise. Owner was communicative and helpful with our late arrival. 15 minutes from Wolfville and most vineyards. One drawback is the 3 flights of stairs, this may not work for some people.

Beautiful spot

We Loved our time in Canning. I’m originally from the Annapolis Valley, and to find this perfect little spot was the highlight of our trip. Check in and check out was a breeze . The apartment was in such a great location and the restaurant downstairs ( The cider house) was delicious with excellent service! We hope to stay there again!

I loved the big covered deck that over looked the river! The appartment was clean and comfortable. It has a lot of stairs to access the apparment which was fine for us but might deter people with mobility issues. I would recommend adding a microwave to the kitchen. The air conditioning was great and it was nice and quiet :)

Nice access to everything

Nice and close to see the sights of the area. Grab some fresh lobster from Halls Harbour Lobster House. Walk the beaches and watch the tide at Blomidon. Perfect little get away spot.

Place is Beautiful

Host is so nice. The place is so beautiful and clean and you have a nice view of the river from the deck. They also have a restaurant downstairs and 15 minutes away from Wolfville. We’ll surely go back next time.

Canning is a great little town in the the most interesting part of the Annapolis valley, the center of wine and cider country with great attractions and fabulous restaurants, hiking trails and beaches. Just a great place to live and work!

What makes this property unique

The location is great, but what makes the property great is its incredible large deck overlooking the Habitant river. A quiet place to relax or have a BBQ while you enjoy some local wines.

The property is easy to find, right on Main Street. with ample parking.
