The house is new, the lake is amazing, the owner couldn't be nicer. My daughter caught at least 20 Northern Pike, we caught several bass. Never did find a honey hole for the larger pan fish, but did get enough to bring some home and have a nice fish fry there. Lake is unique and very peaceful, even when it is "busy" which isn't really busy, still feel like you have it to yourself. Loons are right of the dock, Bald Eagles fly over, can't say enough good things about this place!
Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home nestled in the north wood pines. It’s new, comfortable and well equipped. We had a ball playing games in the screen porch, having family meals around the table and jumping into the beautiful clear lake. We loved the lakeshore and being surrounded by the wild life. John was a super responsive host!
Beautiful cabin that is perfect for multiple or large families, on a small quiet lake. Swimming off the dock was great! Note the shared driveway is narrow and parking is a little difficult with a trailer. John had great communication and responded quickly!
The cabin was wonderfully tucked into the tall pines with a great view of the lake. We loved watching the fabulous sunsets off the deck and enjoyed the evenings down by the fire pit right near the water’s edge. John was great to deal with. He was very responsive to all our questions, and made it a breeze to check in and out. We found the cabin to have everything we needed for a long weekend. There are also a couple nearby restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. I have also stayed here in the summer and it was equally enjoyable. The lake feels very private and the cabin quite secluded. It has a sandy, clear swimming area with a gentle slope to the lake. There is a kayak and canoe available, and I believe you can make special arrangements to use the pontoon and or fishing boat. It’s a great spot to relax, watch the eagles, and listen to the fogs and loons sing you to sleep! I will be back!
