Worst VRBO I have ever stayed in and we travel often! The host is rude and has way too many rules. The neighborhood is old and shady. When we were driving to the house we did not feel safe and the host has at least 4 cameras outside for your safety. No safe neighborhood needs that many cameras. You are watched since you walk in the house and even though no cameras are allowed inside, I would not be surprised if there are some hidden. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with signs everywhere with rules, no noise, no gatherings, take care of the property, the hot tub has pee sensors, etc. the host lives next door and pays attention to your every move. The house also has a for sale sign outside so they renovated it to sell and want it in perfect condition. We booked for 12 but my kids invited 4 friends so we were 16. When the host asked I said yes how much is it per additional guest and we will pay. He responded rudely and said there are no guest permitted they have to leave right now. Since we were in the middle of dinner I told him 4 people would leave 2 hours later. He refused, got violent said he did not want us in his house and threatened to call the police if they did not leave at that moment. He kicked us out at midnight with 8 kids and continued to harass us. We felt uncomfortable since we arrived and with his attitude. It is not worth it. He also threaten to cancel the reservation at which point we wouldn't be able to leave a review. He has probably done it before.
