Unique getaway property perfect for friend group

Property is in beautiful private setting close to restaurants, hiking, and the river. With three bathrooms and great space for “hanging out” it was a perfect spot for a group of friends to enjoy a long weekend stay The key flaw in the posted description is the omission of the fact that some cars may not make it up the gravel steep road and that once parked you will need to carry everything up 60 steps to enter the property. Anyone with mobility issues would not be able to access

Golf Trip

The Osprey is aptly named. This condo is high up in the trees. And for our golf outing with our friends it was a great location. Once we were in after golf, we stayed in and enjoyed the screen porch the most. The mosquitoes and bugs were awful on the golf course but the screen porch was a life saver. So private and comfy.

It won’t fit the full review I wrote. I invite you to contact me. This is less than half of it.

I’m normally a generously positive reviewer. I’ll lean as positive as I can on this one, but these disappointments should be known by future renters --as well as by the ownership/management: 1. The crummy driveway is not for a high-performance sports car. It’s a scraper at even the slowest crawling speed. Ouch. Damnit. 2. And the last of it, gravel, is so steep that our party with a front-wheel-drive car could not come up. Spun their wheels. Literally. (I backed it down, turned it around, and backed it up just to get it to the top, at the end.) That party, who was staying at another place, refused to come back up for dinner the next day. Refused. Damnit. 3. From the parking at the top end of the driveway, you then get to haul your luggage and groceries up 60 stairs. Five stories --at least four, presuming the stairs are not full height. 60 stairs. 4. So, once you’re up and in, you’d like some ice. Is there any ice? Nope. Not even ice trays to make ice. 5. Then you see that the view is NOT of the Mississippi river valley. It’s of treetops. Up close. Not that they don’t make for a beautiful backdrop out the windows, especially from the lovely, screened porch; but the described vista view of the valley is naught. Disappointing. Very. That’s what I paid for. (Out of the larger of the two bedrooms, in back, is a stairway, further up, to a lovely little patio with a couple chairs. (And a shower. Wow. Cool. Didn’t try the shower, but the little patio was lovely.) From those ch
