Welcome to Sweet One, a traditional pine wood a-frame vacation rental cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. This beautifully outfitted one-bedroom chalet is just the right size for two, and it even has a loft area with space for one or two more!

Sweet One’s main level features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. Comfy furnishings and plenty of natural light create a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the kitchen is fully equipped for the aspiring chef (just bring groceries). A queen bedroom and a full bathroom are also available on the main level, along with a deck that’s home to a hot tub and an outdoor dining space.

Upstairs in the loft, an additional queen bed adds extra sleeping space. Both the queen bedroom and the loft offer their own TVs, and the living room is home to a SmartTV (bring login credentials for streaming platforms). Sweet One provides high speed internet, and its owner decorates for Christmas, making the home extra cozy during the holiday season.

Guests of this Gatlinburg chalet rental have access to three clubhouses, the closest to Sweet One being the Upper Alpine Clubhouse, which has a large outdoor pool, a wading pool with a fountain (for youngsters), showers/changing rooms, and a game room with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, video games, and chess/checkers.

My Stay at Sweet One

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was just an okay stay. I wish I could say it was good. The beds were very uncomfortable, we hardly slept. The sheet was also way to small for the bed. We were supposed to be provided with firewood and we were not. There was little privacy on the deck or inside the living room where all the windows were open and visible to the cars driving by. The shower also had very little water pressure. I don’t really feel like we got our money’s worth out of the cabin.

Reviewer Comments: The little chalet was nice but it definitely needed some updates done to it the bed was comfy the couch needed replaced you could tell that it had been used a lot the hot tub was great nice and warm everything was there that we needed overall it was very nice and clean the driveway was a little steep with a few potholes they needed some gravel in there we got to see Bears every day while we were there which was pretty cool the weather was great for us overall the people were very nice to us

Great location but outdated

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting with Mt. Laurel chalet for a couple of years and have been in their properties 14 times already. We were glad to find a place available only two days before the 4th of July holiday but the happiness ended just after we got to this property. Completely outdated to the limit of acceptable. Was very dirty. We could hear the critters inside the walls during the evening and no washer and dryer. Excellent location and a great mattress on the only bedroom made me give two stars.

Suite One was just as expected. Quite and relaxing. Perfect getaway for my husband and I. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. Mostly had breakfast there then went into Gatlinburg to have a late lunch/early dinner. Just two of us, didn't cook much. One of out favorite restaurants is Best Italian, highly recommend them. I would definitely recommend this cabin and most definitely recommend Mt. Laurel Chalets.

Shocking customer service !

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Due to unforeseen circumstances, I personally could not make the trip but I handed over my reservation to my grandparents who went instead. The route from Scott AFB to Gatlinburg was accident ridden that day and my eighty year old grandparents were approaching Gatlinburg close to seven pm. Around that time I received a call from management about late check in procedures which I directed back to my folks on the road. They asked the gentleman on the phone for directions and I was shocked to hear that he told them to stop at the nearest exit and get themselves a GPS system !! They finally made it to the lock box and retrieved their keys but found it very hard to locate the property. Grandma Dorothy told me a stranger, who sensed they were lost, stopped them and directed them to their Chalet. After 12 hours on the road, the last thing they needed was the rude reception they received. They did not have any complaints about the cabin but I am not impressed with what the report I received.
