We rented the condo to stay with our daughter as she recovered from knee surgery, spending more than 5 weeks. We had a great stay, and are grateful to Nancy for letting us rent her unit. Although the condo is in an older building, the unit has been nicely updated, including the kitchen and bathroom. There was plenty of space, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the arrangement with one bedroom with a king bed, and the other bedroom with a twin (with trundle) and a queen bed provides plenty of sleeping spaces.
There is a bus stop just a few steps from the building, and the free bus takes you to the downtown bus station, where you can take the "in-town" bus to travel on. Bus availability varied since we were in Vail during the off-season but it is definitely possible to get to town (and to the hospital) without a car. Also, it's about a 15 - 20 min walk to Lionshead.
The owner Nancy was quick to respond to our many questions, and was helpful in every way.
We would definitely recommend this condo, including to those who, like us, need a place to stay after a Steadman Clinic surgery. Just be sure you have assistance to handle some stairs.
