Terrific location here at Glaciers Reach! Located in beautiful complex directly across the street from the Marketplace IGA mall. On free shuttle route to gondola, and steps away from the Whistler Village stroll, restaurants, shops and night life in Whistler Village. This is a one level ground floor unit. Quiet section of the complex. Comfortable bright living room with gas fireplace and modern new furnishings. The new sofa converts to Queen sofa bed

Affordable but

The property was neat enough, there were a few things in need of repair like the hallway cupboard door and the bed was a bit tired, but it did provide for a cozy stay. It’s a long way from the action so be prepared to walk a ways to the lifts and restaurants.

Easy check in and check out process. Underground parking that is safe. Convenient location, close to the free shuttle bus. Lovely fireplace. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed on the main bedroom can be updated.

Good pick

The unit was clean and ready to use when I arrived, everything worked fine in terms of the heat, hot water, kitchen appliances etc. Underground parking was easy as was a convenient loading/unloading place close to the condo. The spa facility was wonderful - water temp in the hot tub was perfect and it was easy to access. The staff were friendly and cooperative when I locked my garage access in my car on the first night. The bedroom was adequately sized and had a nice chest of drawers for ski stuff. Best of all it was easy to walk my dogs with very convenient access to doggie toilet areas, and a fairly out of the way sidewalk/path where I could walk them without encountering a lot of people. All in all it was a good choice and I will probably try to rent it again when I return to Whistler.

great updated unit

We've stayed in this complex before, different unit, and we like the location. It's just enough far away but close enough to walk. We had a few concerns that the manager took care of very quickly.

Good place, needs a deep cleaning to remove pets hair

The place was just as described online. We were looking for a pet friendly place but our dog does not shed (hypoallergenic dog). There was lots of pets hair on the couch and floor. The bedding was size king for a queen size bed so it didn't look or feel the best. You could tell it was clean but it had some stains. Looking is great and the kids really enjoy the pool.

Cozy condo

Whistler is such a beautiful place and the condo is cozy and suited us perfectly. It was cold while we were there so it was nice to sit by the fire and relax. We had a couple little issues - there was quite a bit of pet hair all over the carpets and couch. The fan in the bathroom was quite loud and the switch did not work to shut it off, and we were left only 1 roll of TP for a 3 night stay. Bob was a great communicator and I know these small issues will be addressed. We would definitely stay again if we go back to whistler!

Awesome place at a great value

We had a wonderful 1 week stay and Bob/front staff were super responsive especially with the dip in the bed. He delivered a top mattress immediately the next day after we emailed asking if it can be fixed. Parking was a little confusing with the front desk as they told us visitor spots were available first come first serve but you still needed a pass and they were hesitant in providing more than 1 so if you are coming up with more than 1 car, make sure you clarify that so they are better prepared. Place is a little hard to find but it's at the corner behind a fire lane. You can temporarily park there to unload stuff which was convenient. Garbage disposal was at the other garage location which was a bit of a walk in snow but not bad. 12 min walk to the gondola which was amazing!

Great touch leaving a gift basket at the apartment. A bit hard finding the actual unit. Hot tub not hot enough to use. Overall comfortable and clean unit.

Good location but has certain area can be improved

Well stocked small unit but has most of items family need for a week long dtay. In suite laundry which is a convenient compare to other shared unit. Now, let's talk about the negatives. 1. The glacier reach building has some weird layout, north/south parking lots not connecting to each other, and moving items from garage to unit requires going outside to icy streets. 2. All beds are pretty badly worn and need new mattress. I am not talking about sofa bed, but the normal bed in suite is pretty much sunken in without much support. This gave us back pain after a long day of ski without good sleep. I stayed another week in a VRBO unit at Marquise, and that bed is way more comfortable than this unit.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME STAYING HERE

WELL FIRST AFTER BOOKING THE PLACE ONLINE AT VRBO THE PROPRTY MANAGER AND STAFF WERE REALLY GREAT IN KEEPING US UP TO DATE FOR OUR ARRVIAL DAY, THEY WERE SENDING ALL SORTS OF INFORMATION WHICH WAS GREAT AND HELP FULL. A WEEK BEFORE WE HAD SOME CHANGES AS WE WANTED TO STAY AND EXTRA NIGHT WHICH THE MANAGER HAD NO ISSUES WITH, HE DID EVERYTHING AND SEND ME A NEW CONFIRMATION (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE . THE DAY OF OUR ARRIVAL FIRST WE CHECKED IN AT DEER LODGE AS IT SAID ON OUR EMAIL WHICH WENT GREAT AND EASY !! WE THEN ARRIVED AT THE HOME AND FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE KEY TO OPEN THE GARAGE DOOR IN THE BASEMENT (IT TOOK A BIT BUT WAS EASY AFTER THAT. LOOKING FOR HOUSE #40 WAS A LITTLE PAIN AS IT WAS HIDDEN IN ONE OF THE CORNERS BUT WE FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. KEY CODE AT THE DOOR WAS SIMPLE TO LOCK AND UNLOCK. EVERYTHING INISDE THE PLACE WAS NICE AND CLEAN JUST THE CARPET LOOKED A LITTLE DIRTY (MOSTLY WEAR AND TEAR) NOT A BIG ISSUE. OTHER THEN THAT OUR STAY WAS GREAT. SPA POOL AND GYM WAS NICE TO HAVE AND WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, TAKE CARE

leaves things to be desired

The location of the place is amazing. However, that is where it ended for us. I was working during the day and having fun in the evenings but the place is next to an active work zone where they were jackhammering out on the street during the work week which was super disruptive on every zoom call. The unit has a single window in it (in addition to a slider in the bedroom) but there is no screen on the one window. So on the hot evenings, the bugs came right in. And then it was missing basics like a place to hang a hand towel in the bathroom. It took 2 days to get hand soap and toilet paper which should have been there at check-in.... Anyway, it was fine for what it was, but I wouldn't go back and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Cute and Cozy - Close but not in the Middle of Action

Nice small place with all the facilities needed for a great stay at Whistler. Close enough to walk to everything, yet out of the main stream of traffic and noise - providing a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Nice basement suite style condo.

This suite is very nicely decorated but It is very small and very dark. There is only one window in the living area and it opens to a dark covered patio. The lighting is very dim. Most of the table lamps are in some state of wobbly. The bathroom lighting makes putting on makeup an interesting task. We stayed during the summer so while the condo was dark it was also very cool so is it is a good choice if there is going to be a lot of heat while you are there. The bed needs a new mattress and although it is not the worst, not too soft or too hard it has permanent deep indents where travelers have been sleeping. Definitely not hotel quality sheets on the bed. Would have liked if they had had at least a few clean pillow cases to use and a second set of pillows for the bed. When we got there the fridge was warm and took some time to finally get it to a food saving temperature. Bathroom is lovely but if you have any mobility issues ( and I speak from experience here) the bath tub is next to impossible to get into. It is a jet tub that is no longer working so the sides are very very high and they have installed a partition glass that covers half of the tub. You have to get into the tub before you can turn on the water ( so think being in the first blast of cold water from the shower). The water was shut off to the condo for most of one of the days we were there. We had been promised compensation but that never happened. Promises made but never kept which is sad. The walk to the village was great. It was a great spot for taking off biking. Groceries were very close. I might not ever want to stay in this condo again but I would still recommend it to someone else. I just prefer to have a view out of my window of something a bit more interesting. It is cute, it takes dogs, and it is very convenient to the village. Its location in the building makes it some what easier to bring all your stuff to the condo. It is worth taking a walk around the complex as it has some of the nicest landscaping I have seen in a long time. Pool is small but very nice. Bring a camp chair as there is not enough seating unless you don't mind laying on the ground.
