Dirty
We arrived to find our room had not been properly cleaned. Bathroom smelled of mildew. Mold and mildew in the shower, shower curtain had mold and pink mildew on the bottom of it. Trash on balcony had not been removed, floors had dirt and sand on them, AC unit had mold and mildew as well. I notified manager on duty promptly and was told I would have to wait until next day to speak to properly manager. Maintenance came and changed out the shower curtain. Housekeeping came to room next morning and scrubbed shower. Trash was never taken out, floors were never cleaned. We were there 5 days and has to walk to front desk for fresh towels/washcloths each day. I am very upset I paid so much money for a much needed get away for family time and the room was disgusting. Property manager gave me $55 back for my
Inconvenience. That was a joke. Very unsatisfied with the room and how things were handled. The Cabana on site was closed and under construction. We were never notified until check in, which inconvenienced us as far as eating because we planned to stay on site most of our trip. Toaster oven was broken and fridge barely worked in room. Ice machine on floor wasn’t working either. It was a horrible trip but we made the best of it.
