Great house for a Mardi Gras weekend

This house is great for a large family or small group of friends looking to enjoy what downtown Mobile has to offer. It’s a very short drive to the heart of downtown activities, which makes it great a stay during Mardi Gras.

A Dream Stay for a Business Trip

My recent two-day business trip at Agatha's Historic Home in Downtown Mobile, AL was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the seamless check-in process and the host's prompt communication set the tone for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The property itself is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern convenience. The soaring ceilings and beautifully appointed rooms exude elegance, while the plush queen beds and high-quality linens ensured restful nights after long workdays. The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi allowed me to stay connected and productive. The off-street parking provided peace of mind throughout my stay.Though my trip was primarily business-focused, the home’s ambiance made it feel like a retreat. This is a place where comfort, convenience, and Southern hospitality converge. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Mobile, whether for business or leisure, and I look forward to returning for future stays.

Pictures are deceiving

Very quirky house with great potential however, the location of the house is just off the main road of a not so great part of town. The fountain in the photos made the house location appear much nicer than it is. The fountain wasn’t working and very overgrown. There are 2 other houses that share a “driveway”. The air didn’t work well so 3 of the guests had to sleep in the living room on couches and a pull out bed. The lock box holding the key was an old school combination lock that was hard to open. The door dead bolt lock didn’t seem secure. Several of the rooms were so hot they were unable to be used at all. One of the roll out beds we found was very unclean. Ended up cutting our trip short a day just to avoid spending another night there.
