The kitchen has all the comforts of home--Toaster/Microwave/ Coffee Pot. All the necessities.

Plus, a separate game room that has a Pool Table and 7ft. Air Hockey game. Also included are board games that you can enjoy on those rainy days. Great for kids and adults!!

There is also a 6 Person Jacuzzi on the back deck that is PROFESSIONALLY SERVICED after every rental. Great for relaxing and star watching after a day of activities.
The backyard is great for a game of volleyball or catch.

There is a queen size bedroom on the main floor with 1 of 2 bathrooms.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms plus bonus room (2 queen bedrooms and 2 full size beds).
plus, the 2nd bathroom.
All the rooms have their own Flat Screen TV's and thermostats. There are plenty of blankets/pillows -all the comforts of home.

Fun Getaway!

Lots to do in this area, in the house, and at the development itself. Our property manager was great and responded quickly to our questions! Would stay here again!

Perfect Location

Overall this is a great place to stay! The location is awesome—the lake can be seen from the back deck! The host is extremely friendly and responded to all questions/concerns quickly. There are a couple things that could use an upgrade, but we still really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend & hope to stay again in the future :)

Great family getaway

My wife and I have 8 kids so it’s difficult to find accommodations for all of us on vacation. This place was perfect! The house had plenty of space, rooms and beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the pool table and air hockey table. We spent most of our days at the beach then enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening, occasionally sharing the back yard with a few deer that came to graze. Dorothy was a fantastic host and her communication was fast and easy. Highly recommended this place!

Relaxation

The house was awesome!! My kids enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table a lot. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone. My daughter even had a deer get close enough to lick her had. The lake is beautiful.

Pleasantly surprised!

I’m sorry that it took so long to leave this review but I’m still settling in from a very relaxing stay at this house. First thing I want to say is that the interior pictures on the listing do not do this house justice. Not that the pictures look bad but the house in person is way better! The entire house was extremely clean and organized. Everything looked fairly modern to me (thinking of earlier reviews) and nothing looked outdated or overused. We were five adults and three children and we never felt cramped in this house. Even the bedrooms, though small, do not feel cramped. There was a small issue with the air conditioners in the bedrooms upstairs, which got taken care of ASAP! Dorothy was extremely responsive even prior to the trip but also during that first day to oversee that the ACs were taken care of. (BTW nothing was broken or needed to be replaced… the units are new). The game room is large and fun! The bathrooms are also very large and new. The kitchen is super cute. I personally didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but my sisters told me it was great. The clubhouse is very close by and the pool is beautiful! The neighborhood and community itself is very very quiet. The entire experience was way more than I expected. And the only reason I expected less is because of the extremely low rental rate! Thank you again Dorothy for your wonderful hospitality! We are actually considering coming back for the winter and enjoying the slopes!

Fall weekend

We rented the house it was 3 couples and we had a blast! The house was super clean & comfy. The host is super nice & easy to contact. Property is beautiful, in great neighborhood. We all want to go back again! Pics don’t do it justice!

Teenagers kept happy

The goal of this vacation was to keep a smile on my teenagers’ faces. Goal accomplished. They had their own rooms with a friend. They played pool daily. They loved playing sand volleyball against the adults. (Adults 6 wins, teenagers, 4 wins). Fishing for the younger teens kept them happy. Big Day Out at the Pocono White Water rafting place was AMAZING (but very tiring). And a few hours spent at 940 Golf kept them smiling for hours. A couple of AAA baseball games at PNC field kept this baseball loving group happy. Beautiful field. Never did we hear “I’m bored!” Overall a successful vacation. Even saw fresh bear poop in the front yard, yet never encountered the bear.

Perfect Getaway

MY wife and I decided to take a romantic getaway and this was the perfect location. House was clean and cozy. We were able to enjoy a nice fire in the fireplace and enjoy the peacefulness of the location. I highly recommend this place!

Cozy Home

If you are looking to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the daily routine of the city life this it the place to come. Very comfortable house for a large group and the hot tub and the game room was our favorite spot. Dorothy is a great host always available for anything you need. Highly recommend this place.

Quick Stay Pocono Trip

Four bedrooms, with a game room and hot tub. Everything we needed. The friendliest deer we’ve ever seen, even got to hand feed them some fruit. Communication with Dorothy was excellent.

Very Clean House with tons of amenities

Our family really enjoyed our 2 day stay at Dorothy’s house. Really the cleanest rental we have ever been to. The hot tub was so enjoyable as the temperature at night dropped. Plenty of space with lots of rooms. Game room was a complete hit. House is private and neighborhood/community was lovely. We will be back for sure!!!

Great Getaway!

Our group really enjoyed our stay. The property has 4 bedrooms, which was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the game room, which has a pool table and air hockey, as well as the hot tub. There are tv’s in each room, which comes in handy on a rainy day. The host, Dorothy, is very responsive! This property has been put on our return list.

Amazing weekend had by all

We spent a weekend at Dorothy’s place and it was just what my group was looking for! 4 couples who were looking for a relaxing, kid-free weekend, we were able to relax in the yard and hot tub on this property while enjoying the view of the lake, as well as get competitive in the game room. It was the perfect amount of space for all of us. We took a 15 minute drive to hike around Hickory Run State Park, and enjoyed dinner at Nick’s Lake House Restaurant. The “neighborhood” was so quiet and peaceful, and Dorothy was so helpful with the planning process and with recommendations along the way! I would definitely recommend this property to a family or a group looking for a quiet get away to reconnect with each other and with nature. We look forward to renting this property again!

Amazing Experience

Dorothy was very responsive and accommodating. The property was very nice and cozy. Everything was clean. The hot tub was a nice bonus to the house and the fireplace in the living room added a nice touch. The downstairs bathroom, newly renovated was very nice and the upstairs had a washer and dryer. Every room had a television which was very convenient for laid back nights. The house was much nicer in person than in pictures. Thank you , Dorothy. Would absolutely consider renting from you again.

Great rental with a hot tub and game room

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Dorothy’s rental! Dorothy was very responsive and happy to answer any questions. My 13 and 10 year old loved the pool and hockey table. We went sledding in Hickory Run Park and got Butterbeers at the Harry Potter themed coffee shop in Jim Thorpe. Each night, we went in the hot tub! It was a fun trip! We are already thinking it would be great to visit in the summer, as well!

Beautiful property, had a great time

Our family spent three winter days at this property, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The hot tub was a delight, and we saw deer in the backyard every night. The air hockey and pool tables are inside the house and fun to play with. There were TVs for everyone in our large party to watch anything they wanted...if we could pull ourselves away from the other stuff! Dorothy always responded quickly, for example when we had TV issues early on. Thank you so much!!

Perfect clean and organized home.

This place was very nice and clean. Very comfortable for 10 people. Game room and hot tub kept everyone entertained during our stay. One night we just set on the deck and looked at stars with music and some hot drinks it was perfect. The owner responded quickly to our emails and phone calls. Hot tub was cleaned right before we went. Overall this place had everything we needed for 2 night stay.

I love the area. Towamensing Trails is beautiful, and the people are very friendly. The house is in walking distance to all on site amenities.
Love the nature- deer, wild turkey, birds.
Very quiet area. There is so much to do in and around the area. the kids love it. Ski during the day, relax in the hot tub at night.
